Most of the john deere mowers have a hose fitting on the deck so if you plug that in and turn the hose on, then turn in pto on, its like a washing machine for under the deck

hey daggerwin you dont have to buy a belt from john deere. all you need to know is the size of the belt needed and you can get an off brand belt and its always cheaper.

Are the X series machines more prevalent in the UK than the 1 series tractors? You hardly see any X700’s sold stateside because everyone just seems to opt for a 1025r

Never heard of someone changing belts before they were visibly damaged cause the prices are stupid lol also you don't anti seize the bolts or change fuel filter?
@SirMaxeN6 ай бұрын
I don't know if this what you suppose to do, please correct me if I'm wrong, but when I change oil filter I always fill it with oil before I screw it on because it is taking quite a while until it will fill itself (it is very absorbent), and my thought is that if I will screw empty oil filter, until it will be filled it will also take a while so for some time engine will run without oil. Anyway great video!
@MattHorch6 ай бұрын
Prefilling an oil filter is a real old school thing to do. As long as the seal is lubricated before it’s spun onto the housing, you can just fill the motor and then run it until it’s warm and oil is completely cycled.

I was wondering Dag if u could use like a tar like sticky substance for underneath where the blades are I would assume that would be more resistance to hits from little stick and small rocks and wouldn't have grass sticking on it that hard. Kinda like a thick plastic/rubbery coating. Just a guess of course.
@adampyro8346 ай бұрын
would depend what its like afterwards. if it stayed sticky it would just cause the grass and dirt to collect. some stone chip paints are better than others for coating underneath things. i would thing for a ride on lawnmower its easier to repaint when needed than try use the better and stickier paints

How does one has belt problems with less than 300hrs on the clock?!
@jklbubbublkj79396 ай бұрын
300 hours is quite a lot for a belt. To put it into perspective, your average machines entire life might be a bit more than 300. It all depends on quality of belt and how it is used.
