Session 1: What is Our Connection to Our Land?

This was the first session in The Empowered Jew's Four-Part Series, offered to the Sydney Jewish community to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to navigate today's challenges and become an Empowered Jew.
The session took place on Monday, 9 September 2024, and was led by Mimi Nussbaum, an educator and the Head of Jewish Studies at Moriah College. Mimi revisited the basics, focusing on the Jewish people’s Biblical and ancestral connection to the land of Israel. This foundational topic underscores the Jewish people’s historical claim to their indigenous homeland, Eretz Yisrael.
