For someone who owns every Session guitar, Session bassist . And pretty much every other plugin from NI , It would be nice to get more than a intro price . For those loyal customers to eager to wait for the komplete bundle. And end up with double licences when we buy the collectors edition.

They should do what Steam does; recalculate the bundle to only include the products you're missing, but because you have the others, still give you the discount of the entire kit, because you're a loyal customer. They I would buy more of their stuff.. now? not so much.

Old Session Guitarist libraries would look amazing with an updated UI. For example. I would really want to see the midi drag and drop capability included in earlier libraries because I get inspired instantly by that feature. Hopefully, and thank you for this a must-have library.

Many newer features wouldn't be able to be ported because of the way the whole thing works but A LOT of small quality of life improvements they made in the newer ones could and that would be so helpful. I love the sound of the first one and I still use it to this day but it'd definitely benefit from an update

The older ones used the chord sampling technique, it's not midi, they recorded every chord in few styles in those libraries, but the new ones are completely different, they didn't record chords, but the the different notes of a chord, and that's why you can use midi with them Have a good day❤

Can you please clarify for me: we can now completely edit the strum pattern after dragging to piano roll? As in every beat and note as desired, custom? They are now, basically, nice starting points? I'll buy now instead of waiting for Kontact 15 if that's the case. Love the series but not previous limitations. Sounds like it, if chords are all single notes. I only have limited phone access during sale. Please confirm and thank you everyone.

It was made by Drumasonic. In the current ui interface you can't see Drumasonic yet under brands, but Seesion Strings under e-instruments. Hopefully more of that in the future.

Hey, a new session guitarist! Sounds great. But a few notes: You guys mention the upcoming 10th anniversary of the series. Would be a great moment to update the older libraries with the newer features and more (simple) patterns. In other libraries, some very basic strumming patterns are missing that are crucial for songwriting. (When arranging around a lyric/ melody with a specific rhythm.) And looking at the new drummer and bassist features in the new Logic Pro 11, you need to take another step to keep competing. (Like the possibility to draw in a two measure guitar pattern with up and downstrokes.)

Is there a way to get it to load faster? I bought it recently and I have to leave it fro 10 minutes to load because it's on my external harddrive. (It's obviously a HUGE plug-in, but even BBC Symphony Orchestra loads faster, and it's much bigger in size)

sounds great but please tell me it plays at slower tempo unlike strummed acoustic 1 and 2 which stop playing at 60 or 65bpm.. sometimes we need it slower at 40 or 50bpm speed. big limitation

Doesn’t it have a half speed function in the settings.. you could choose 80bpm and set it to half speed.?

@@GSA_Drums it stops playing.. if you half it at 120 or 130, that's the limit.. if you half 110, no sound.. it's the same thing as setting the tempo, just won't play.. i have written to native instruments about this and they say that's the lowest sample rate it supports, sent me the manual i think.. which i thought is another way of saying "we're not willing to put in the hard work needed to record slower samples". i had to buy ilya strum for slower samples but it doesn't sound that great.. so I'm still looking for alternatives to slower tempo rhyrhms

I wish all the other guitar and bass libraries would get updates too! Seems like with every update the sampling tech sounds more realistic, and you notice the difference when using electric sunburst deluxe vs this. It's clear that NI devs have the patterns down great. I think what really needs to happen now is to really put a big focus on the MELODY part of the library. IMO NI really has to go all in on the melody feature so that we can have the most realistic guitar libraries out there. I want to be able to make my own melodies and strummed chords too, but right now it seems like its still being held back. For example we still cant do arpeggios that play the same note across different strings, like you would see in a real guitar when playing with open tunings or picking through an open chord. And also to have keyswitches for up and down picks, forced string frets, etc...

I have most of the guitars from NI. Its like they sound too good to sound natural, too reverbish and silky clean. The best guitar plugin I heard by now is the Fink - Signatures Guitar from Spitfire. If only NI could do something like that with the sound of their acoustics.

Customizing strumming patterns isn't possible, but you can drag and drop MIDI into your DAW to transpose the notes and change the melodic line.

Its an scoutic 6 string guitar anf one of the best acoutic sampled ones so far...mayby the best onr and i know them all. Was the steinberg one also a jumbo 6 string guitar? I remember it was a great sampled electric guitar...so why you compare them? Makes no sense. And by the way...steinberg ones still good but better ones outhere in 2024 ....for sure...sounds you dont know them personally
