Sorry about the shaky footage! It only seems to shake in the game capture/display window. It doesn't actually shake like this in the headset itself. I'll figure out a way to make it look smoother for the next vid.

All vr games have this problem because it is actually you that is shaking slightly. It isn’t you in particular, everyone does it but your mind compensates

this kinda proves that it is the animations that make this game feel like it could be better. the board flips so good, but the skateboarder feels like he's just attached to the board instead of manipulating it

yeah the board has looked great for years now, its a shame gameplay updates are non existent at this point... we are down bad in the realistic skateboarding game world lol

@@BodieMotothe game is optimized for general performance, skater xl board relativity will make the game run slower or the animation look worse and floaty. Skater Xl is horribly floaty because of its lack of animation tbh

This looks surprisingly good! I think Session’s graphics really lend themselves to VR since the level of detail is quite high. Good to see you back Milky!

Glad you like the shoe mod with vr, i couldn't skate without it. Having the skater floppin around in ur view was killin me. VR is so fn fun tho, definately brought me back to the game. QP's and big drops feel crazy.

i made a mod like this for bmx streets pipe a few years ago, videos on my channel with it. it was really hard to play for long, don't think I ever spent more than an hour playing, but definitely gives you some cool moments.

Yeah the footage is quite shaky unfortunately, in the headset though its super smooth. There might be a setting to get a smoother recording somewhere.

​@@stillmilkytry to see if you can run LIV VR application while you play this. It helps with smoothing any shake and has a ton of other settings that help with recording and streaming VR gameplay.

Does it feel all jittery in the headset like the camera does in this video?? I have a Quest 3 and I totally know what I am setting up on my next day off!!! I had already heard about this Unreal Engine Mod but I did not think about trying it with Session or Skater XL at all!! So DOPE!!

Downloading the game of opening and changing the settings to default on the mod will turning off the keyboard and playing the game of landing the tricks should helped in the game

the "flow" issue in session is a matter of animations, this is probably why VR feels better session need some tweaks in the animation

Is there a tutorial how to do all this? I just got the quest 3 and I've got modded session on , but how do I get the game on the quest?

Download steamlink from the Oculus store in the headset and connect it to your PC, then run the game after they're connected. After that you use the UEVR mod and click Inject to put it into VR mode, there's quite a few tutorials out there on this.

@@stillmilky thanks man. I just got VR for the first time last week and I've got like 800 hours on session between steam and PS5 so imagine how bad I want to try this. I'll check out tutorials. From your reply doesn't seem like anything needs to be done specific to session, so I should be able to figure it out with other tutorials. Appreciate it!

It's kind of interesting some people have such intense reactions to it. I may recall some discomfort after a long stretch of playing multiple times throughout the day when I very first got it but I've never been discombobulated or anything like that. A friend I had use the Quest 2 said it caused him discomfort when he used it and I had him try the Quest 3 which has better resolutions for each eye and a better frame rate output overall ( i think ) and he said it was a lot easier to use and he didn't notice any discomfort. I only have a few years on you but it could be that your eyes/brain are used to, or just have an easier time with, high frame rates and higher resolutions which is typical by all means, that's how it should be. Maybe try a headset with a larger resolution and a better internal hardware configuration for the higher and more consistent frames during gameplay if you ever get the chance, you might find the discomfort isn't there anymore.

​@@ocdc3261yeah lol I've got the stomach of a god. I played VR with a GTX 1650 for like 2 years so the fps was always around 30-60. I would play for hours on it. I did take breaks though not because I was feeling sick because I've never felt sick on it but I take breaks because screens and stuff aren't good for your eyes.
