Auspice is a caste system, it is a blessing and punishment for the forsaken actions aginst father wolf. It’s a way for Luna to twist the knife.

My thoughts on why they are the Pure and Forsaken is that when Father Wolf was slain Luna Forsook the Uratha, the Forsaken are keenly aware of how this deed has stained them, that even though they gained some level of fogivness when they took up Father Wolfs role their sin was never forgotten or fully forgiven. Hence Forsaken. The Pure on the other hand claim no part in Father Wolf's death, they are not responsable, they areuntainted by the deed, Pure. My thoughts anyway.

Ressurecting because I liked this series haha... I think the forsaken killed Father Wolf, because he went mad. I'm not sure though haha

One thing about CofD content is there is very little official lore and explanation of what is going on. In this case, it's basically understood that werewolves killed Father Wolf... But the why and how is a mystery.

I like the idea of playing a Werewolf and also a few side characters in the Pack. Troupe play encourages diverse roleplaying, in my opinion. EDIT: I really recommend picking up the Pack supplement for Werewolf. It really expands the mechanics of how packs work, which I think is important to any WtF game.

It'll be a while before I get back to these videos. I don't have a big interest in hitting Werewolf: the Apocalypse because it has a LOT of problematic content that I'm not going to touch. :D Check out @ThePrimogen channel. Primo did some stuff recently.

Ithaeur - I think this is supposed to be pronounced Ithae'ur. so like a small break after the E, and then follow up with the 'ur' sound. Also Would Arcadia (Faerie) possibly be the spirit world? Ghosts that don't leave for the underworld, might end up in Arcadia, formed into some fae creature over time... or if caught on the path through the hedge, becomes a hedge ghost. So Werewolves could potentially be tied up with the Gentry... or potentially even run into a Huntsman chasing a changeling, etc. I dunno, but it'd be a cool way to better fit it all more together rather than having everything everywhere separated up... like with the Dark Mother from Beast, she might be more than just what is described in that book. she could have been the original inhabitant of Arcadia before the Gentry arrived, Perhaps She was the one to create a Beast from Cain, and Cain ended up fusing with his Horror and thusly became the first vampire. I like to think it working a bit more like a much wider interconnected world. Not everything needs to be all compiled into the same Cosmic controlling being, but some level of familiar relation. Especially since spirits can be more than just Ghosts of the Dead, but also the out of control 'essence' of Human Gangs, instigating an increase in local violence, etc. Or be a Protecting Spirit attached to a Hospital and an oddity there is perhaps that there's a 0% SIDS rate for newborn babies. It's all about still keeping it all unique, but also interconnected.

Arcadia is another world entirely, but it's not the Shadow, for sure. Arcadia MAY be a type of Astral Realm that humans don't naturally enter. I know Dave Brookshaw who worked on Mage: The Awakening says that the Hedge is actually the inside of the Astral Barrier between waking consciousness and the Astral Realms of the Oneiros and Temenos.

@@OccultistsAnonymous Most likely it's a place that has the realm of dreams attached to it then? I guess I was partially right then with that there's a lot more interconnectivity between everything in the CoD's settings, from Vampire, to Beast, to Mummy - Some elements might have superseeded or replaced certain flavorings found in older in-game lore - like say the Judges of Mummy might be an offshoot of Gentry that had bound themselves with enough Oaths and such to gain immense powers but limited themselves in extremely lengthy ways, and as I've postulated before is that most Progenitors to other Supernatural Bloodlines (like Werewolves, Prometheans, etc.) all comes from a Beast that became Incarnate in some fashion. at least I like hte idea that it could be a possibility - especially if the Dark Mother is supposed to be the Primordial Horror herself, the fear of fears, the entity that gives mortals a sense of being afraid in order to become wiser, adapt, avoid needless deaths or making purely dumb choices.
