A few more insights based on the new tft trailer: -Finn maybe? -> silco is playing with his lighter -sevika will get a new arm at some point in the series so maybe in tft as well -the blackrose lady maybe as a unit? blackrose plays major role in the trailer -blackrose opened a candy shop -twitch kills whisker -choncc becomes a firelight

Mel is suposed to be a 5 cost, there was some dataminers showing a unique trait for her as a develop name "miss mage", her unique trait has an icon that is really similar to mel and protects you from dying if she casts 12 times before and gain damage amp after. Is more likely that new champions will be added and the traits expanded than swap already show champions. As for Warwick he would fit perfectly as a Experiment - Watcher - Quickstriker, sharing watcher with his past self, as the girls also do.

@@paulandersbullecer3152we don’t know how she gets freed yet(my guess would be with whatever that gold like glow was after she found out her brother was just a mirage), but we do see her back with the gang in Piltover for a split second in the Act 3 trailer. So she does escape from them somehow!

Mel isn't quite a emmesery. Well not as much as her mother. I believe they will just add them instead of replaceing them. There are some gaps in traits. It would make sense to add a few units.

Emissarys are based off the champions play style that fits their lore. Nami is the champion that has mage abilities that supports her allies. Tristana would be the one that's off putting for the role....

Mort in his first or second Set 13 gameplay video says "Man, the things we'll be able to show once Arcane/Act 1 or 2 finishes..." and he also kept repeating "Malzahar stays till the end of the set, right?". Especially in his 8 Visionary video so its a 100% certainty that some units will be replaced or more added.

i really hope this is a thing for sets going forward and not just arcane, even a couple new units helps keep the set feeling fresh (like when they turned urgot from a threat into a star guardian)

Since Warwick has Vander's mind in arcane, that might be a direct swap Victor will replace Malzahar. then mortdog gets to do some funny acting about being so close to Mazahar 5 cost. Having 4 firelight wouldn't be crazy. It would be on the same power level as 4 quickstriker.

Considering the fact Mort has constantly been saying how balanced this set will be on release, even before it was on pbe, I don't expect them to suddenly add more champions at launch without giving them any pbe testing. It'd be ballsy but also kind of stupid balance wise. I could see them essentially just doing a model swap though. Like replacing Mundo with Warwick (both heal, warwick is kind of a dominator, and going from 2->4 makes more sense than 2->3), or Malz with Viktor. That kind of change is thematically cool, without breaking game balance at all.

Mel, WW, Victor, had an answer in mort's stream which was "no spoilers or in other words "we don't know"" took that as a yes. i's just too obvious i think, don't need to speculate when one of the MAIN characters of the show aren't in the set based on the show

I do think they will add warwick and viktor since in league where all characters in the aram piltover/zaun map had the arcane skins only viktor and ww had their original looks since they are waiting for arcane to finish on sunday to avoid spoilers, i also wish to see Mel sharing jayces trait as a nice easter egg

I feel like they'll be doing a midset for this one. Replacing characters with already existing units feels like a tough thing to nail down. I highly doubt they'll be adding extra traits (except for some of the 5* units having their exclusive traits). It also makes a lot of sense for champs like Jayce to have their visuals/mechanic changed to fit his role in Arcane's new season, which includes his new skin.

warwick will come in as an experiment watcher. i also think he'll have a unique 5 cost trait. viktor will just replace malzahar. experiment feels really lackluster and i assume it's because it's balanced around ww coming in. the rest? i dont know.

It may sound insane, but I almost think the academy trait will be 100% replaced with a new one. TFT trailer today showed a corrupted Jayce, not the one currently on the PBE, which really only leaves hiemer from arcane, whos whereabouts are currently unknown. Fully rplacing that trait would give a ton of flexibility with new units, and I feel like its possible, its a pretty simple trait as is.

Edit: there are 60 champs in set 13 so would be weird to add more since set 11 and 12 also were 60. Maybe 6-costs or exchanges?? Excluding ww and viktor would be bonkers, maybe they’re SO SIGNIFICANT that they are some special type of units?? Great video!!! I feel that exchanges feel unlikely, but maybe that’s precisely why it would be so so cool if they did it? Otherwise, a thing i reacted on this set is that set 12 had 8 traits/classes that had 7+ units in the game meanwhile 13 only has 6… Did anyone compare number of champions??

**Game lore spoilers ahead** * * * * The big bad baddie of the league world has always been the void They already made some winks in Arcane Season 2 Arc 2 (Kog maw anyone) In game they (the void) said they dont have like a “figure” who they follow, but they have like a hive-like mind (viktor?? Hello) If they want to destroy and consume everything and viktor was talking about paradoxes and shit about selfreplicating and selfannhiliting, they’re defo going this route Lb interactions with Lissandra in LOR makes you think if theyre gonna work together to help runeterra keep the watchers from waking up or maybe even fight it out with them I’m most certain theyre gonna go this route and the whole runeterra will join forces against the void (viktor might be responsible for the hextech going corrupt and the void being created by the paradox so. Obv they’re going to explore other regions and we will see how at the end everyone will unite against the voidlings There’s just too much information about the void panning out in Arc 2 with viktor. While he might not be one of the watcher, i believe he ultimately be responsible of the void being created or born, its going to be the hextech rune going corrupt and deciding the world must end because “humanity” is not worth keeping or saving, this going corrupt and the void being born Since it has the power to bring back people alive or it has those kinda regenerative power, im most certain this is how the void are going to be created Cant wait to see my girl Kaisa, my girl LB, the avarossa sisters, my ionian strong girls like syndra and Karma going full extermination against the watchers, belveth etc!
