I hurt my shoulder on reserve weekend, Chief thought I was faking, had unit do a LOD, found out my collar bone was broken, filed a claim, once retired, 40%. Great info as usual!

Hello everyone, would just like to thank you Jordan. Your information is definitely worth the $300. Filing online the only person that can represent you accurately is yourself. It takes probably a month of research and paperwork and months of getting diagnosed but it’s all worth it when you get that 100% P&T you deserve. Fellow veterans please do not shy away from taking advantage of the government because they’ll chew you up and spit you out without a care. Thanks again.

Thank you Jordan, trading your real health (most valuable asset) for fake money (US Dollars) can NEVER be a winning trade, so vets getting the ratings they truly deserve is never taking advantage of anyone, just both parties upholding the agreement to the fullest

Just had my first C&P exam. It was for hearing loss and tinnitus. Of course I gave the lady a copy of my bulletproof personal statement. She texted me later on saying that was literally the best personal statement she's seen in her 10 years of working there lol.

Also for the guardsmen and reservist you have up to a year for an informal LOD determination so make sure you stay on your readiness NCO and keep in touch with S1 and G1 to make sure they have everything. After the year mark it turns into a formal review I’m still waiting on mine for my back thank God I got service connected without it and I’m pretty sure it’s because I had that 2173 stating I was hurt during training at FT. Please make more videos for active duty! Thank you
@vaclaimsacademy3 ай бұрын
My audience is majority made up of veterans but I absolutely like to show my transitioning military some love too because it’s actually where this knowledge is the most actionable. Talking to active duty spells doom for VA disability channels typically, which is why you rarely see it. It’s essentially an unknown unknown to that audience, so it’s a very hard to break through and get through to most of yall but I’m gonna do it. Cheers!

@@vaclaimsacademy good to know. I appreciate the work even either way. I learned a lot about what I need to do now via listening to what vets are dealing with when they are out.

Believe this or not I didn't know anything about VA claims until 15 years after I got out of the Navy,no one ever spoke to me about it ,I believe because I am an introvert,no exit exam or questionnaire,no deployment exams, nothing.Although I got a couple of documented injuries and illnesses,two combat expeditionary medals.Did'nt file my claims til 35 years after my discharge because I felt I waited to late but, to my surprise,I was awarded 90% and still working on 100% I get upset because I left a lot of money on the table.

Possible video for you to do and a question from me. What are your thoughts on never conduction tests? If they come back normal, could they void any claim for radiculopathy and/or neuropathy claims?
@vaclaimsacademy3 ай бұрын
Good question. I’ve seen negative nerve conduction tests be a justification for wanting to deny veterans peripheral neuropathy in the past, I would say it seems rare however
@koreythomley65263 ай бұрын
@@vaclaimsacademy was thinking neuropathy for my legs do to plantar fasciitis, but may go with radiculopathy caused by chronic upper back pain. Thanks!

How can you get a va doctor to take a problem list item to diagnosis when you have a diagnosis outside and current service connected any idea?
@vaclaimsacademy3 ай бұрын
Hey BigTime 👨🚒 If I am understanding your question correctly, you’ve got one of those fringe diagnoses on third base that are flirting with home plate, and you’re wondering how to drive it home. This takes a little bit of ego management on your part by asking for the sale while making the doctor think it’s their idea . I have refined the following variation of something like : “ Hey doctor, I’ve been diagnosed with X, and it’s still bugging me I was just wondering what treatment options you think I should be considering” It’s an assumptive close and it puts the battleground on what treatment options and you are giving the doctor power and a sense of freedom while also basically telling them to get your diagnosis on record at the VA

MHS Genesis currently does not have all recorded history for a majority of us who have been in over 20 years. It is still migrating from the old systems.

You still should be able to access the old system. I was able to pull some stuff off from 2010 that hadn’t made it to genesis so I could file some claims

@@1kefims it’s doesn’t matter how you do it, one trip or multiple trip. Just get it done. Va doesn’t care about that…. Only, “ is it diagnosed or not”… Although i will say , C&P examiners can also give you a diagnosis too.

Naw don’t do that. He is legitimately helping veterans. If you send a simple email and wait for his reply then you will get a response. He is busy but he makes sure vets are taken care of.

Also to add, it was the best money I ever spent to get educated w/o all the b.s. on a process that was not set up for veterans to win. I would highly reconsider, I’m 100% bc of God sending him to me.
