I am currently 50% for generalized anxiety. My husband recently passed. I have had panic attacks for years prior to and more so after his death. I have been meeting with a therapist regularly. Is it safe to try for an increase with the new schedule coming out?

If you keep refilling your prescriptions that shows continuous treatment. Medication is treatment

How does the VA decrease you just because you haven't seen a VA Dr? I see mostly private dr's. They can't prove you are not getting treatment elsewhere. It makes no sense to me.

Im at 20% for both knees. My right knee went out on me and i ended up turn my muscle I went through the VA and they left me in my knee stabilizer longer than what was expected from what my doctor said so even after therapy I'm still having trouble with my knee and my left knee got worse for trying to redistribute my weight also lower back pains. I tried to file a claim but they denied me even though it was in my medical record that I was in the stabilizer for too long and the reason why my knee went out was due to my knee injuries in the military

I've been denied PTSD 3 times. All three evaluators rammed me through the "eval" in less than 10 minutes and I got my denials in the mail in about 3 weeks. ….. And I've seen REAL combat with SOF units and I have a combat parachute assault under fire. Meanwhile I know guys who've never fired a shot in anger that got 90% PTSD rating 1st attempt, straight out of the gate.

Can they decrease something that is static and totally unrelated to what you are applying for? For example, you have a rating for your shoulder but are applying for allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.

I contacted login.gov directly yesterday on this for the second time in 2 months and they confirmed it is going to be terminated. The same holds true for DS LOGON, which was supposed to be sunset on January 31st but has since been extended to September 2025. If you are still on active duty, You can implement the same strategy using MHS Genesis's patient portal. Any message you send through the secure messaging system immediately becomes part of your electronic health record. You claim to be 100% with TDIU. How do you earn money by offering claims support and keep the TDIU rating?

Talking about PTSD and the compensation from this is despicable to me. I refuse to even claim it for 15 years a white knuckles my way through life for that long with no help because I didn’t want the label when I didn’t give a shit how much money it was worth. $1700 times 15 years of monthly payments is a pretty big number.I literally told the doctors that you dare put that shit in my record. I just can’t stand hearing somebody talk about this stuff this way.

Can I submit the same personal statement for multiple claims if it relates to them? Or do I need to write a new statement for each claim? If so, do I have to write everything said because it would basically be the same for each claim.

I highly recommend a BDD claim for those still in service. File at 180 days out from ETS or retirement. Your claim gets expedited but make sure you have all of your medical records with current diagnosis. I was able to get my award letter while still on terminal leave, two days before my actual retirement. Essentially, your claim goes to the top of the stack.

Hi brother, I have a question. I haven't been officially diagnosed with apnea through the Army, but I do have some comments in my military files of having symptoms of it. My VA rep has told me that if if there's no file in my medical file it will not fly. Question to you. Could I just file on my own through the VA web site? And yes I'm have been diagnosed with apnea through my civilian dr and I'm on the Cpac machine.

Dear sir, I have just turned 66. I was in the Navy 6 years and Army 8 years I am currently receiving disability for Ptsd and have been receiving it for the last 10 years. I also have been diagnosed with hearing loss and tinnitus in recent years And now have to have hearing aids. And I am have debilitating back and feet issues which cause me extreme pain 24/7. The VA hospital which is 2 hours away say my back and feet are not service related. I am only at about 90 % disabled but now I have no teeth and am trying to get to 100% so my dental will be covered. I can hardly eat and it was the Army and Navy that took care of my teeth for 14 years. I went to Medicare this year just because I have no teeth, I am desperat and extremely depressed and feel like The VA does not care anymore. The pain I have in my back and feet are real and have pretty much kept me from going out of my own home. In the Army jumping out of Hemets and Mlrs vehicles constantly and doing a 100 mile march in 4 days. But they won't recognize my back and feet issues because I did not complain about it while in the service. Because if I did It was frowned upon like I was Gold bricking. Very disheartening to say the least. Can I do anything to get to 100%. And get the Dental which I feel I deserve? I don't know where to start. Sincerely Ron McVay. ([email protected])

What about claiming combat PTSD for other than special compensation. For regular disability compensation, the -21is vague and just says during armed conflicts and lists war time engagements by name.

I went from 0% sc for migraines up 80% with secondaries within a year.

VA scheduled me to a doctor who asked me how to fill out the paperwork about me who ended up getting me reduced by 10% 👏 Here i am having to pay someone else to correct the issue because nobody at the VA will help me. DAV will not call me back. I spent 2 days trying to call someone for help and numbers were disconeccted, some numbers led to a person referring me to another number that led to more disconnects, etc. And YES i called the VA directly for phone numbers to DAV reps/referrals!

The VA (redtape we go thru) facility should've never been created all it does is make VETERANS wait for our deserved disability VA NEEDS TO BE OVERHAULED PERMENANTELY! We don't need VA raters and the hundreds of pages written on our injuries all we need is Veterans Law Judges to say YES to injured honorable veterans and NO to uninjured dishonorable veterans.

I see disability fraud all over the place. Fully abled slugs taking advantage and gaming the sytem to the tune of 4k a month tax free. Going to the gym and playing sports is not 100% disability. PTSD should have a limit too because they can get all the therapy they need for free. Don't deny it!

Make sure you can find any and every treatment you have received. I was put in a T.A.D. status at The Naval Hospital for 6 weeks due to a knee injury. I have ordered all my medical records twice and can't find any notes or records on that treatment. I need a knee replacement on that knee due to those injuries and V.A. refused service connection.
