You guys are doing great, I’m always amazed at how much your family can accomplish. The boys are getting a great education in how to do so many things. Buggie too, with all her work in the garden and elsewhere. Not to mention mama, with a baby in her arms. You guys are the best, I love your channel. Your family might be interested in a KZbin video “Renovation Process, divorced man renovates home to live in”, truly amazing. This is somewhere in Asia, doesn’t say where. This guy is such a hard worker and I can’t believe what he accomplishes mostly on his own. He also has a little family of stray cats and dogs he cares for, so kind. I think you would really enjoy his process.

Having projects to build muscles and skills is the best thing for all your kids! Us girls had to learn basic small motor and auto repair, basic carpentry etc. right along with the boys. As well the boys had to learn how to do laundry, mending ironing and cooking too. Great life skills and confidence builders. Love that you are raising another generation of solid folk!

Wow, concrete is poured for the foundation! So it got delivered and then started to rain and pour down on it as soon as you got the concrete bags on pallets unloaded and covered! Crazy! I'm so glad the boys could help do all the manual help of pouring the foundation. That was a nice time lapse filming of the whole procedure! Too bad the MUDMIXER broke! I'm glad you got it to work again. The GFCI system on it is iffy? Good thing you had "Rusty" the concrete mixer as a back-up. I'm glad you had some leftover concrete to store on the homestead just in case. I bet you're very happy that part is done! It's great that the boys helped clean up and burn the empty concrete bags. Good thing you got the part near the outside of the trailer, the drip zone, dealt with before the rain could dig a line into it. I like the time lapse of the kids walking all over it. At least you poured it before all the rain happened! Yay, block is next! More rain! Thanks for this video Hollar family!

I was thinking along similar thoughts too. Been following for quite a while now and finally this past Winter I went back to the very beginning and followed the progression. As I was watching Buggy this thought came to mind if Meg & Ben had called it quits then precious Buggy and now Elizabeth wouldn’t be here - that would very sad.

I'm a 64 y/o lady with a disability and for most of my younger life on our farm I never wore shoes, only to school and church and have hardly never had colds etc, I Love seeing your boys helping you, they are learning useful skills and having fun too. Just a safety note for the son with the long hair he may want to tie it back while using machinery as a lady here in Aus ripped her complete, scalp and face off getting it caught in a machine on their dairy, just caring, it's all looking great, love the new bub sooooooo super cute xox

Another 64 year old Aussie here, we all remember that poor lady, it was horrendous but taught us all to make sure our hair is tied back. My grandkids won’t wear shoes here on our small hobby farm. Even now while it’s freezing cold they still get around bare foot. They have gumboots but prefer the earth between their toes. “ Touch wood” they rarely get sick. Karen.

What an exciting video! Having followed you on the journey, we understood the pause but were very happy to see the project begin to progress, as we’re sure you and Meg are too! You can feel the excitement of the boys as they are part of this progress, after pause for several months also. Not using a cement truck and/or pumper worked out for the best! I’d be remiss if I didn’t congratulate the video and editors also! Everyone contributed to a truly memorable video of the continuation of your New Home Addition.

All of your boys are great but I think Brett has the edge on them. He's got the makings of a mini you. I know what you mean about rain, Glasgow, Scotland here, our whole summer so far has been a washout. We don't even get summertime temperatures. Its very frustrating, thats why so many Brits head to Europe for their summer holidays. England and especially the South usually get not bad summer but here in Scotland, its usually abysmal. Love watching you making progress with the build. Thank you for sharing x
