Hi Sander - thanks for the tool. Just playing around at the moment, and tried to recreate the 'snake' effect (you kindly created an AE file for us to look at). Is it possible to do this to with offsetted paths, ie: make the 'snakes' enter the scene with Link End? Thanks.

Hello sander, I trying the new Ouroboros these day and I found something weird with the "link" function. When I click the link button, it will create a new "trim paths" controler in original shape layer, and the ouroboros won't link the path with the original path. The check boxes of the link start and link end won't work either. I use the Mac. Did it happen to someone else?

Hi Sander! Thanks for the tutorial. I'm trying to achieve the Link effect (2:15), yet when I follow your steps I don't get the same result. 1. Click 'Set Matte' 2. Click 'Link' 3. Check 'Link End' or 'Link Start' 4. Animate the 'Trim Paths for Ouroboros Set Matte' on the original path But I get the effect where it just trims the Ouroboros layer as a single stroke (0:32). Am I doing something wrong? Or could this be an issue with last month's update / CC2019? (The Link Start & End buttons don't work either...)

Hi Paul, Make sure you have the latest version 2.0.3 installed. You can check your version number when you click on the gear icon. Go to your downloads page in aescripts.com to pickup the latest version. I just tried the same steps and it works on my end in CC2019, Also when you 2. Click Link. its automatically checks the end and start. Let me know if the new update works, otherwise feel free to click on the support button in the gear menu and submit a ticket so we can help you further.

@@georegulus Must've been a bug. Restarted AE and re-applied Ouroboros to the same line, now it works & can't reproduce the error. I was on 2.0.3.
