How did you change the stroke width of just the one individual color? Every time I try to copy what you did it is controlling all of them. Also noticing there is an expression on mine as well.

There's a good chance I'm doing something wrong (Likely - 97.5% / Unlikely - 2.5%) - using this for the first time in AE 2022 - following along - does not create a base palette of colour - if there are no object returns an error message - no colors found within the selection - any help would be appreciated - thx

Still not implement. I believe they won't implement features that plugins already take care of. There is just too much other things to improve or work on that only the AE team can do.

Yes it is! when you add the color function to your ouroboros stroke, you will find some color control properties on the layer in the effects window. Just apply the colors to those using the random function in Ray.

Thats my problem too. When I tried to copy the outlined path of a word to the shape path in AE, it all got messed up. But with simpler shapes, it is doeable.

Hey Sander! Any chance you'll add support for tapered strokes? The individual ouroboros strokes can be tapered individually, but it would be awesome if it could automatically match the taper of the original stroke!

I'm currently looking into that as the AE beta has the option to taper. Naturally each Ouroboros stroke has its own taper function and it would be hard to make them act as a whole. However, what you can do is apply the taper to the original stroke and then apply a set matte effect to the ouroboros stroke and point it at the original stroke. This will create a matte and make it look like the ouroboros stroke was tapered as a whole.
