Really great opportunity for a young mind be able to interact with Seth Godin. One positive feedback: after Seth (or any guest) provides a meaningful insight or response, double tap on it to u cover a little bit more. Jumping from question to the next after a response can be less conversational or flow. Over the years you’ll definitely get better and it’s a great thing you made the jump and dove into this space. Keep it up, people are watching 💜 🐄

@@jamesbrackiniv if you're creating value you seek to serve, you are winning, and you are creating significance and then we have to decide: is the story we're telling ourselves helping? by redefining what i get as success, its much easier to feel successful, so if i write a blog post and i hear from 5 people, that's a successful blogpost. i am not depending on some random event to make me happy. We are saying "my job is to chop this wood, carry this water, for these peple, to see if i can make a difference. and then if im lucky i get to do it again tomorrow. There's a lot to be said for saying things that you are afraid to say because you could ay them later. Taking the time to say those things now, to clear the air, to share how youre really feeling, to be thankful. you dfon't get a chance to do it later, and it's worth it. a lot of creative people are a little broken. One way they deal with whatever piece of potteery inside needs mending; is by shipping work that has some kind of beauty in it. putting some kind of work that, beyond their physical presence, causes a change to happen. The definition of creativity keeps changing... What it means to be creative in any field - is being very comfortable with doing things that might not work - and also, being comfortable with them being generous things.

@@jamesbrackiniv You really connected with the guest. And super interesting questions, I just took a bunch of notes from you! "If you had one question to ask each morning, what would it be?" "What skill you wish you had developed earlier?" "Do you have an experience in your life that felt like a failing in the moment, but later on it ended up being a success?" I'm paraphrasing from memory, hahah, maybe the questions weren't exactly those, but those were great pathways to spread the Seth-wisdom in a way many interviewers haven't been able to do. And the guest is Seth, that's so crazy! I've designed my life so much around his teachings. You can see that he was doing this with please. And wow, what a sign that is that you're in the right path here! I literally shed a tear when Seth said "My job is to chop this wood & carry this water for these people, to see if I can make a difference, and if im lucky, ill get to do it again tomorrow". I always take direct quotes from him, go over what he said multiple times so every word gets documented right, hahah. And I read them over & over again. They've had such a big impact on my life!

Great video - Especially loved the bedside table question! I agree with one of the other comments, and you might now be doing this, but spend a couple of seconds showing you were listening to the answers - maybe reiterate the important points they just made and then move on to the next question. But great work, very insightful and fantastic questions!

James Brackin "the IV". Seriously what is it with some pretentious North Americans and their obsession with traditions that they chucked the British out of the the country for? Can't take anybody with "IV" pretence-suffix to their name seriously, even if it is Seth Godin as guest.
