Man! The difference when the interviewer is phenomenal is staggering. This conversation was by a mile, to me, much more valuable than any other Seth’s interviews! Thanks Dr. Gervais.

Agreed. It’s really annoying when the interviewer gets on a soap box and takes 5mins to ask a question 🤦♀️

One of the better interviews I have heard with Seth. Dr. Michael Gervais does a great job actively listening and really digging into Seths mind--great job!

So timely and revealing. Seth has the ability to remain current yet timeless. I do wish to have a coffee with him one day so that I can possibly give him my understanding of his work.

I love this interview! Seth has a personal connection or disappointment to how he is defining authenticity. There is a TRUTH about the definition of AUTHENTICITY. the interviewing is speaking about. I agree with the trith of Authenticity. Seth is speaking about the way those he has seen use what authenticity IS NOT as an excuse for unprofessional/ poor behavior.

What a great conversation and I loved the authenticity discussion. It stopped me in my tracks. I was just rescued from a place that I didn't know needed rescuing. Thank you.

So many brilliant and helpful points. Thank you! Loved the 3 things most important to Seth (and applying this to my life); emotions have been around longer than words; and consistency and values driven as a professional.❤

If I understand what you were trying to get across with the term "authenticity " is values? As in Values = authenticity...in which case you would be correct...your values should not be context driven BUT inate and consistent. Or you would be a hypocrite. However Seth was using authenticity as how one shows up in the world a state of BEING which if you are a professional engaging in professional work should be consistent regardless of if your life is blowing up . Also EVERYONE is different to Seths point depending on context. The level of intimacy, trust, knowledge of the other person would dictate how one would show up. Reference the poker game, if you value truth YOU WOULD NEVER be at a poker table. It would trigger you and you would loose. You would need a different set of values driving you.

Every person i tell to myself and others never taught 1st impression, takes a second look, then New Mexican Pizza, LLC, compares. Louisiana wasn't local hot sauce, KFC has nothing to do with Kentucky history, or , then, AI. New Mexican Pizza is always corrected as regional.
