Jewels Star Your points, outside of being represented by someone like you, I can somewhat agree with. However, a lot of people did vote for her because she was a woman, or simply because she wasn't Trump (which goes further than her gender just being a "bonus"). What race, what gender, what whatever someone is, shouldn't impact an election. All that matters is what they stand for. I wouldn't vote for an Indian president just because I'm Indian-- since race and gender is not what makes the person and focusing on race/gender is really a form of racism/sexism in itself. Anyway, Trump is already moving towards a moderate stance on everything but abortion and the energy sector (the latter of which is likely bluster since he knows how supply and demand works), so I'm already okay with him. Additionally, I don't think anyone can really use "but she won the Popular vote" as any form of argument, as Al Gore lost for the same reasons, under EXTREMELY suspect conditions and no one cared. Think of this as payment for America's apathy back then. Why is it such an issue now? Honestly, regardless of personal leanings and opinions, two good things came out of this election. One, we broke the mentality that only career politicians can be president. Two, the media can no longer decide presidencies (H. Clinton spent significantly more than Trump per Electoral College vote). The next four years will be interesting, regardless.

I will be there legally, but i know that in my work millions of fellow co workers will be people there illegally, i just don't get it.
