When I started running I was also trying to lose weight. I ended up starting by walking because running was too much😂 then after months of power walking I started running parts of my walk and eventually connected all of those parts and now I run. Don’t get discouraged true love if it takes awhile!!❤️ it is definitely a journey ☺️ I’m rooting for you🎉

Thank you so much for talking about needing to be a more experienced, resilient runner to feel confident running in shoes with lower forefoot stack height!! I work run specialty and have customers come in all the time with injuries related to things like that, and I so rarely see shoe reviews that mention that. Also I love Tuesdays with True Love!! So positive and shows how to up mileage in a responsible way. Thank you guys for being you and for putting so much love into the world! :)

Seth, I just reviewed the Adios 5, done 200km in them check my views out. It's quite funny to see how some of our opinions differ, which just goes to show that its all personal. Great video though mate... by the way my friend ran 220km in an ultra in them and didn't switch out! ohhh and True love is crushing it :)
@saltyjo75142 жыл бұрын
The best thing abt these shoes is that they are really light and feels low to the ground, hence fairly stable. Otherwise they are a pair of not quite there shoes. Not quite enough cushioning, not quite enough rebound. Noisy when the plastic plate hits the road in every step. Certainly not meant for stealth missions.

Snaps for “True Love” giving the Nike React Infinities a workout. Going to crush that 5km. QD: Post pandemic travel is connected to running goal. Goal is to run an age qualification time (M45+: sub 2:55:00) for Berlin Marathon. So if I achieve that travel to Berlin. Family holiday also to New Caledonia May be on the cards to as it is a short flight from here in Australia.

For me, the Boston 9 has more versatility. Even though it only has a couple more mm cushion in the forefoot, with very little additional weight it feels much more protective than the Adios and is more in the sweet spot with its 8 mm drop. I prefer it to the SL 20 but that was just a personal thing with my foot; Adidas nailed it on both those new models and I think they are great for everything from track to potentially marathon-but definitely up to half marathon. By the way, I go down 1/2 size on Adidas, from my usual running shoe size 9 to my street shoe size 8.5.

Not sure if Adidas discontinued the 5 last year? Just checked the Adidas Canada website. Not listed. Just the Adios Pro 3 and 2.0 and the 6 But you CAN still find it sold at hsops....Adidas should make more "flats" even if the trend is for high stack height w/ rods...
