Much of the toxicity is at the top. We have to quit the job to get rid of the toxicity. Malignant narcissism is rampant in society today. Henry address the unbelievable narcissism in our workplace and in DC. It is pandemic.

This is applicable, and refreshing at the same time. Thank you for posting this and discussing these things. I am 23, and I love hearing about these issues. "A man who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty, the man who keeps learning is young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young."

YMMV, but as an atheist I found this video to have helpful advice, and I was able to focus on the useful contents for me and leave the religious context untouched. I have heard other talks that are harsh, judgmental, relying only on faith and not on good mental health practices; this was completely inoffensive to me. Gave it a thumb's up.

I love Henry Cloud. His "9 Things" book inspired me in my undergraduate years in college.

I’m surprised how many are disappointed because he’s a Christian..maybe God led you here to get a glimpse of Truth? You must be searching for something if you are here. Just know that Jesus loves you indefinitely! It’s so difficult for a human mind to understand the Love God has for you..this is not an opinion but fact. God bless you all!

This is a very revealing interview. I appreciate it and perhaps will order the book. This consultant makes his point very well. I think that the faith issue is not a drainer, while this might be the reason why this good dialogue never got any comments. But the topics exchanged here are worth being discussed. And the presentation is professional and clear-minded.

I thought this was a great discussion; gets to the heart of common people problems and I love that the Bible was referenced.

This video has useful tips, although as an atheist I feel like I was tricked into watching a Christian KZbin video!

Laura Wainwright, as a fellow atheist watching these videos is like being given a pot of gold where half the nuggets are iron pyrite (fool's gold). You've got to tolerate all the useless information in order to keep the nuggets of wisdom. That's exactly how I approach Dave Ramsey as well.

Pruning is good. Christians should prune out huge chunks of the Bible for example, since stoning unruly children, keeping slaves or forcing rapist to marry their victims are not cool for today's standards.
