Wow, whenever you have to depend on someone else taking action to get you something that's disempowering. We must rely on ourself.

When you are given scripts for anti-depressants should be a script to volunteer as much as possible. Let that become the one drug that is most healthy.

Volunteering is nice, but many people still need medicines to re-regulate enough to get back to functional. Anti-depressants have their place in life. No need to over prescribe them, but no need to underprescribe them either. 💞

@@politereminder6284 yes they are required at times but limited and patients warned for the risks of withdrawal, toxic side effects, and instituting practices besides medications.

Whether it be your time, resources or talents. Giving back can be a lot of fun. It took me many years to learn this truth. It’s pretty amazing how our lives can have meaning in ways we would have never imagined when we give of ourselves “just because”. Gods ways are contrary to our natural desires but prove to provide abundant returns when we do what He teaches us to do.

I agree with everything except for the "I deserve vs I am responsible" bit. Sometimes you DO deserve better. Sometimes you are NOT responsible for what has happened to you in life. You ARE responsible for certain things. You are NOT responsible for everything..

U deserve better based on wt?? U myt not be responsible 4 wt happened but u are responsible 4 the way 4wrd u can't jus sit n do nothing n say its not my fault I'm here in life u will stay there is his point of being responsible 4 everything cause u blaming n thinking u deserve stuff will keep u suffering. Well technically u are cause u are the one who is living the life u r the one in it so u must take responsibility or u will keep suffering is his point. Blaming solves nothing thinking u deserve better without ur effort is Ludacris wtis it based on only tym u deserve is when u put in the work like training hard at a sport diet etc them u are deserving to win over someone who is not working hard as u.

@@mikerugoyi452 You are responsible for what YOU are responsible for- for what is in your power to influence. You are NOT responsible for things you cannot change. You are not responsible for the actions of others. EVERYBODY DESERVES BETTER from a fundamental level. Everybody and anybody DESERVES fundamental human rights. If you are in a situation where OTHERS acted on you in a way that violated you, then you DO deserve better. To take responsibility for things that you are not responsible for is mentally unhealthy and completely delusional and is not based on reality , and does not work for living a healthy, forward-moving life. If you were abused as a child, you DID NOT deserve that. If you got raped , you DID NOT DESERVE that. If you got caught up in a war-torn area YOU DID NOT DESERVE THAT! If you are a child growing up in a famine stricken land, YOU DID NOT DESERVE THAT! If you were jumped by a bunch of thieves and got beaten up in the process, YOU DID NOT DESERVE THAT! If you found yourself on the receiving side of a genocide or ethnic cleansing exercise, YOU DID NOT DESERVE THAT! Children DESERVE to be fed and cared for. All humans DESERVE basic safety and security

I hear you. You ARE responsible for what you do about what has happened to you and how you let it affect you. ❤️
@politereminder6284
@politereminder6284 Жыл бұрын
@@kevingoodman6617 once again, I only half agree. You are responsible for what you DO ABOUT THE AFTEREFFECTS of what happened to you. But you cannot always control it's effect on you. E.g. If someone cuts and gashes you on the head, you will bleed profusely. You have no control on how a blow immediately affects your human body. It's your responsibility to seek medical heath if you are still conscious, but , you are not responsible for all that blood. If your suffer a severe emotional trauma or several sustained emotional traumas, the Trauma response gets stored in your body and brain. and you can't control it. You can seek therapies and treatments- getting help IS your responsibility. The fact that this happened to you...is NOT

When I'm playing a game with my handphone, people in the game will automatically recognise you with a higher respect, when you are high in VIP in the game, which means you spent lots of money. Therefore, it's not by oneself entitling himself will make him higher. Someone has that entitlement because the people surround him gave him that status. It's like you always get better treatment when you are VIP, first class costumer, isn't it? It's the people making the individual entitled. The daughter won't get attitude problem unless parents spoilt her. So to speak. A guy can meet a girl who has a high attitude like a princess on a date, but if the guy doesn't take that girl as his girlfriend that high attitude has no place to develop itself. Therefore, if you have lots of members with attitude. That means the church is giving a place to develop attitude.

In the world where people struggle to feel deserving of love and respect, struggle to accept the fact that God himself may actually love them, teaching kids to be undeserving is abuse. It may be so that believing in deserving something is a prerequisite step required for someone to acquire responsibility to get it. Why have responsibility if a person a priori believes they do not deserve it anyways? Dr. Townsend addresses the wrong crowd. Entitled people woukd never read his book and responsible people woukd only feel worse about themselves if they do.

HR director did not handle that interview properly. That was totally not within protocol abd could leave the company open for unfair treatment by tellung the interviewee that "It's probably not going to work out". She should have continued with the interview then discussed the merits of tbe candidate with the hiring people. Does the candidate fir the skills as stated in tbe job description? Dismissing a job candidate based on "one thing" does not show good business sense.

Seriously? Texting during an interview showed he was more interested in his social calendar than her time and the company. Can you even imagine what he would be like as a worker if he was that entitled as an interviewee? Then to top the cherry off his parents call. That’s pure insanity. Nobody owes you anything and you need to be considerate of peoples time and effort by being available and actively listening at the bare minimum.
