Hi quick question how many locos will the nce power cab hold amount you can programme into the nce power cab thanks
@chelmswoodjunction4 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew That is a good question and one i can try and answer but dont take my word for it you can program a 4 digit address ranging from 0000 to 9999 and short address from 1 to 127. So far I have 15 locomotives programmed in and have no trouble so I would easily say you can do at least 100 maybe more. Hope this helps. Peter from Birmingham
@MARKLINMAN13 жыл бұрын
You can ONLY program 12 locomotives with the Power cab and Run from 4-6 N scale at one time. 👍👍

Does this work for the procab?
@chelmswoodjunction3 жыл бұрын
Hello I think in would definitely work with the pro cab as tge Pro cab has alot more functions that the power cab doesn't. Glad you liked the video and I hope it helped. Peter

Hello, Is it possible to hock up as SB3a to JMRI.
@chelmswoodjunction11 ай бұрын
What dcc controller do you have and to use jmri you would need a dcc computer interface and I don't know what a SB3a is

Hi good evening, can i control the steam loco "smoke" with NCE powercap ? or loco automatic control smoke based on sound ?
@chelmswoodjunction4 жыл бұрын
If the smoke generator is on a function key then it should work by turning that function on if it's not refer to your instructions that came with the loco. Hope this helps. Peter
@davidlarge88943 жыл бұрын
I followed your instructions but noticed with engine sound running pressing the horn button 2 when the horn activates the engine sound goes quiet or off momentarily and comes back on which does not happen on 94
@chelmswoodjunction3 жыл бұрын
Activating the horn shouldn't lower the engine sound
@davidlarge88943 жыл бұрын
@@chelmswoodjunction I assure you the engine sound goes off momentarily while say you activate the horn but comes back as the horn finishes it is almost imperceptible but I heard it .By the way the video was extremely helpful and well thought out .

The NCE SB3a is the earlier model of a NCE SB5

Then all you will need is the computer interface module then you should be good to go but do your home work first as I have never gone down this route before. Peter
