We do need peace, but we also need a JUST agreement. For JUSTICE Ukraine must be in the drivers seat of any negotiation. The EU knows this. EU has promised Ukraine support beyond what we Americans might.

Zelensky banned negotiations plus he's not a legal president. His term should of been long over. He's not even a Ukranian president, he's a puppet with no backbone, with two passports, with only experience in acting and using that as a leverage to sell a story how he cares for Ukraine while slowly but surely leading it to it's demise while he was incapable to honor agreements and is filling his pockets in the process. A man who has experience in kissing another man and is someone who was recently proclaimed as mentally ill by a Ukranian commander, unstable through and through and it's showing.

Putin only said that the main reason of invasion is Ukrain’s desire for NATO membership which Russia does not want. So let’s agree with Russia and offer Ukrain different options equal to NATO membership for security of Ukrain. Putin said he is happy with Ukrain not being NATO member. If this is the only reason ( which is doubtful) then the NATO should decline Ukrain its membership.

What Ukraine wants is none of Ruzzia's business, so long as it does not impact them. Ukraine sending toxic pollution over the border or damming the Dnieper so it floods into Ruzzia would be impactful to them. Ukraine is as free to join NATO as Estonia or Finland. Ruzzia can counsel against it, send official protests, or act in any way within its purview (close border crossings, impose tariffs, etc.) as a sovereign state and neighbor to show disapproval. Violent military invasion is not in any way, shape, or form acceptable. Ruzzia has no justification here. None. All the twisted reasoning and whataboutisms are irrelevant. If Ukraine had chosen to join the CSTO or BRICS it would have been no business of the West.
