Id love to see how glass on the bottom reacts based on the lights being at the top.

Is that a 365 nm bar? If so do you have a link? Also, is it safe to keep on for long periods or would you need uv protective coating on the glass to protect your eyes?

Yes it's two uv bars. I ordered them from amazon. I'm actually not sure about the protective coating question. We only turn them on briefly to show the glow from time to time.
