9:36 Right there for you! We show you the calculator we used, and we tell you the screen size and distances in the video for our setup... it will be slightly different with every setup. Best to use a ladder with some planks and a counterweight, and do a test setup first before you start drilling. Hope this helps! I have the Optoma hd142x projector and contacted Optoma on what 3D glasses to use and they said that they've been replaced with the zd302 which can be purchased at Amazon and don't need an emitter... Just an FYI

Yeah I found some really nice glasses in the follow up video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2i4f5ejeNd3q5Y and they are soooo much better.

RF is radio frequency so yes, RF glasses require an emitter. The other type of glasses sync with a pulse sent through the video itself, though I'm unsure if all projectors support this. If you can, sync glasses are the way to go, try to stay away from RF.

Can u use 3d glasses like the ones form theatres ? Or for 3d tvs ?

Depends on the tech inside the glasses, best to try one, see if it works, then buy more as you need. Since this review was published, quite some time ago now, two of the 6 pairs of glasses we bought have died. Need tech support myself!

Hi do you know how to get Gears of War 3 for the Xbox 360 to work in 3D? It needs side by side 3d to work. I got two Optoma projectors and it doesn’t work.

SBS 3D is done with just one projector. Optoma is actually one of the more consistent brands to support 3D. You'll need 3D glasses, and just one projector. Best to Google how to setup this kind of stuff...

I have a HD28 and it doesn’t have an RF emitter connection, but within menu 3D sync can be selected (instead of DLPlink) and manual says it is for RF glasses, do you know if it is really capable of connecting to RF glasses or not?

There's actually a number of HD28 models including newer HDR ones, best I can tell you is read your manual very carefully to determine the capabilities. The DLP glasses we covered in part 2 are super easy to use though, so if you can get DLP. However, one pair of glasses has already failed, and it's only been three years! Good question.
