Setting up a Writing Center in Preschool

Lots of great ideas! Thank you. I work at a preschool and we do have a writing center. We put all the students’ name cards there as well as seasonal word/picture. Mine is very basic compared to yours, but I will be getting new things to add.

My boys are autistic. Do you have any helpful tips for learning to write? They can not trace or do shapes and im worried and confused on how to help

Do you buy the sandpaper letters or put sand paper in a paper punch and make them yourself?

you can do either one, but using sandpaper in a die cut machine will dull the blade requiring sharpening afterwards.

Was there a reason you bought alphabet stamps from Educational Insights vs Learning Resources? 🤔 I can't tell if one is bigger than the other. Just curious, thanks! 😁

I don't think it matters. It was probably whatever was cheaper or on Amazon at the time.
