To a seasoned professional, respective tasks may become simplistic as in any profession. Thank you for this extremely instrumental instruction as it truly depicts the steps in the process and has made me aware of exactly what I am doing. Thank you sir!

Really app the video. I also appreciate that you specifically reference using the charts to set your pressures, which I have recently found to be very important

The increased oxygen is not just to blow away the molten metal, it leans out the mixture and creates a much hotter flame. This is exactly why you can't run your vehicles too lean, because it will overheat the engine. I've ran my 250cc 2stroke dirt bike hard when it was too lean because of a vacuum leak, and it literally burned a hole in the top of my piston just like a blow torch does. Great video..

Why are the colors of the tanks backwards?
@GuNNin6523 жыл бұрын
I've seen on other videos that there is no set color for the tank. you know the gas by the label that is on the tank. the set colors are for the regulator, hoses, and the torch knobs.

Can you explain to me how on a machine torch the oxy and fuel are BOTH fully on before the torch is lit, and then they both shut off at the same time,,,,,,with nari a problems. I have been lighting the manual hand torch by setting setting the valves where I know they will be when at neutral flame and then POP. ,,,,Just exactly like a machine torch.....Been doing it that way for well over 50 years with no problems. (And on a torch used only by pros our tips last months. If I catch a guy lighting a torch the way you describe and sooting everything up first time he gets a very sterh ass chewing. The second time he gets his money.

Great, you found success, never argue with success. After 50 years of lighting a torch I am sure you are very capable of adjusting it before lighting. These videos are focused towards folks who have never had a torch in their hands. If you hand a guy his $$ for producing soot 9 first or second time) when they are learning, you must have alot more skilled people to choose from than most everyone out there. good luck

Enjoyed the video, but it may me nervous the way you were holding a lit torch right over the bottles!

Why aren’t the tanks color coated?
@georgesimpson3113 Жыл бұрын
...color coded... not coated, but I agree. They are backwards.
@georgesimpson3113 Жыл бұрын
Really stupid question... then why are the tank colors backwards?!? Red acetylene gas valve with a green tank, and the green oxygen valve with a red tank?!?
@localunion87012 жыл бұрын
I live in Canada and oxygen bottle and hose are in green colour, acetylene are red

Except the color of the tanks is REVERSED for some unknown reason. Just to F you up. Someone please explain this idiocy to me?
@rogerhall47768 ай бұрын
LOL why do you say the oxygen is green and the acetylene is red and you got the gauges hooked to the wrong tanks get your s*** together before you try and teach somebody something
