Great video Propane will be much more affordable Thank you

Considering that the regulator on the propane is usually set around 2, propane lasts forever. It's cheaper, safer, more available. It's a great way to go. Thanks for your comment.

Hello, boy do I appreciate this video! I just bought a used Victor kit for my husband for Christmas. It has everything you have there except the hose and tanks. Do I have to buy the victor cart of is there a “hack” I can use. Also, my regulators aren’t red and green.

Glad it was of use to you. What color are your regulators? Oxygen is always going to be green. Red will be for acetylene, and orange for propane. Since this is a used set, it's not a bad idea to swing by a welding supply store and have them look everything over. Most stores will be more than happy to do it for free.

Haha... Your right, will they accept propane cutting?

Have you used propane for brazing with the propane-oxy setup? I have three welding books that each devote about a paragraph to propane. One book says the heat is less concentrated. I have repaired a few things with acetylene brazing and like that option. And I like tig brazing. Maybe it's just the cool color of the metals. Do you have just check valves at the torch and flashback arrestors at the regulator?

I have not yet had the opportunity to try brazing with it. Maybe soon. And yes, check valves are inside the torch handle, and arrestors at the gauges.
