Hi I noticed that you use cross wound thread, how do you keep it from wobbling as I read that vertical spools need to have straight wound thread?

Hello! Are you referring to how the thread is wound around the tension knob? The way shown in video is based on the Brother manual instructions. I think a straight wound would have worked too.

Can this sewing machine sew on thick material such as denim or leather?

From my experience, this machine did not have the power to move denim material, despite using size 18 needles. You might want to try with some scraps of your fabric just to be sure.

Hi! I've not made curtains or patchwork off this machine, but i believe it should be ok :) If not, change the needle size to 14 or 16 for thicker fabrics.

Stitch Type 24 is a decorative hem stitch. By Brother's recommendation, the stitch width setting is 3 - 5, and the stitch length is SS.

My machine needle hit while sewing then it's broke what should I do ?

You can replace the needle. The machine comes with a pack of spare needles and a screwdriver. You would need to un-screw the nut for the needle, remove the broken needle and replace with a new one. The stem of needle has a flat edge, which should be at the back when slotting the new needle into position.

Hi, For zipper attachment, i do not change the tension (4) or the stitch length (2.5). But i do set the stitch width to 2 as i feel the needle is centred for the particular concealed zip footer i am using.
