Setting up CSS (Cinematic Studio Strings) in Logic Pro

This is my go to setup for using Cinematic Studio Strings. This type of setup helps keep things organized and sets you up for bouncing to individual audio tracks.

Thanks for the tutorial ! How would you collect all what is composed after in different tracks in score editor to have the violin with its articulation by it self as music sheet and the same for the rest instruments! Would be great to have a tutorial on it with the same organizing of the tracks in this video! Thank you again! 🙏

We do the following when a MIDI cue is needed for live players. 1. Save AS "Clean MIDI" 2. remove keyswitch notes 3. quantize all notes 4. remove all non-essential MIDI data. Mod wheel, Expression aftertouch etc. 5. merge all regions into one track and label it clearly for music prep. There's not magic button that does all that but I do think that one day we will have AI incorporated into Logic and the process will be easier/quicker.

Can't you just do all the keyswitches on one track? Why have a different track for the articulations? I mean, can't you disable the modwheel in the Kontakt player and assign the staccatos to a kwyswitch?

If that works for you then sure. But I find myself having to go back and cleanup mod wheel data that was intended for legato patches which then starts to affect the staccato patches. I just find it flawed and cumbersome to have to make sure my mod wheel data resets right where I need it should I switch from legato to staccato.

I input enabled my audio out puts and they are still not working bus in and out are correct. Also for each short long set I made. I had to make it sequential in kontakt under the omi button so for example track1and 2 (group one violin 1 long Violin 1 Short) is omni 1 and two. track 3 and for Violin 2 Long Violin 2 Short is Omni 3 and 4. then viola is track 5 6 Viola Long viola Short Omni 5/6. I couldn't just keep doing 1 and 2 for each new set I had to match12 omni 12....3 4 Omni 34. Any help would be great. the groups seem to work great this way. Just can't figure out why the audio track doesn't show my green bar pulsating. and I do have it enabled. Thanks again Sorry for such a long explanation

Upon falling back on something I learned. I changed the bus out to 0.0 and hitting record enable on this enables the audio output to show. I think this is correct now. I still welcome anything you might be able to add. If you have time. Thank you
