You have done two mistake. 1. After cutting the Jambi etc crop you have to put again and mulch on the field itself then you should plant the crop. 2. After planting tree and fruits trees you should put the narry pyeer to cover live mulch.

It differ based on how much land you are doing 5 layer farming, JCB cost in your area, pants you are planning to cultivate and daily wages amount for people. Our 5 Layer farming is only 6 months old. We got trained from Raju in Salem Siruvaachur who was successfully doing. You can also check with him. Thanks.

We started 5 layer farming from September 2022, still now it costs 30K, further there will be maintenance cost.

I sincerely respect your efforts.. but I see design problem.. Raju's land is located where there is heavy flow of water and his idea of trench is to manage that water.. his soil type is clay and generally drainage is bad in clay.. so he needs that design.. yours is red soil.. you don't need that trench.. red soil has very good drainage already.. if anything you are making your moisture vaporize faster which is very bad for water conservation.. Unfortunately we don't have people who can comprehensively teach us the basics so that we can design better our agroforest.. I see big problems even in your planting.. all those open spaces between plants are a big drag for soil health.. it'll take a lot more of your money and efforts than necessary.. I would suggest you to read on Syntropic Agroforestry.. thatz the way to go and that is what I am currently designing for my farm..
