This was really helpful to me, I've been complaining about the router because my downloads has been slow because I've been connecting to the 2.4 Ghz when having a good network coverage in my residence. If you're having trouble connecting to the 5GHz band, or if your download speeds are still not as fast as you'd like, you can try the following: Move your router to a more central location in your home. To update the firmware for your MTN ZLT S50 router, follow these steps: Go to the MTN website and download the latest firmware for your router. Extract the firmware file to your computer. Connect your router to your computer using an Ethernet cable. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your router in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. Log in to your router using the username and password that you configured when you first set it up. Go to the Firmware page. Click the Browse button and select the firmware file that you downloaded in step 1. Click the Upgrade button. Your router will restart and the firmware will be updated. If you can't find the firmware update page on your router's settings web page, it's possible that you're using an outdated version of the firmware. To fix this, you can try updating the firmware manually using the steps above. If you're still having trouble updating the firmware, please contact MTN customer support for assistance. I see that you bought your ZLT S50 router from Vodafone Gh, but it's not working with your MTN SIM card. I'm not sure why this is happening, but it's possible that the router is not compatible with MTN's network. I would recommend contacting Vodafone Gh to see if they can help you troubleshoot the issue. You can also try contacting MTN to see if they can provide you with a compatible router. In the meantime, you can try using a different SIM card in your router to see if that works. If you have a friend or family member with an MTN SIM card or Vodafone Sim, you could ask them to lend it to you for testing purposes. According to the search results I have, it is possible to enable both networks simultaneously. This is called Simultaneous Dual Band. However, it seems that your router may not be configured to do this. To check if your router is configured for Simultaneous Dual Band, you can log into the router's settings page. The login information is usually printed on the back of the router. Once you're logged in, look for the Wireless settings. You should see an option for Dual Band. If the option is set to Selectable Dual Band, then you will need to change it to Simultaneous Dual Band. Once you've made this change, save the settings and try enabling both networks again. If this doesn't work, then you may need to contact MTN support for help. Your question is not very clear Is it that 5GHz wifi is not showing up on your device or how to enable it on the router To enable it on the router go to WIFI settings and enable the 5GHz wifi, and fill up the other parameters Go to the WIFI settings of your device The SSID for the 5GHz wifi should show up, provided your device supports 5GHz wifi [ 802.11ac] If your laptop/PC does not support 5GHz wifi, you can buy USB adapter for 5GHz wifi, which will allow you to connect to the router 5GHz wifi For an android phone, the 5GHz wifi SSID should show up in the WIFI settings of your device, if supported However, in some old phones, you may have to change the channel number of the router to like 139 to 160 That would allow the 5GHz wifi band to show up on the phone To find out if your phone supports 5GHz wifi, you can install and run a device info app Shalom

Which password did you use

The password is always written on the body of the router which says "WLAN KEY" unless it has been changed which you can reset the router, by pressing the reset button.
