Setting Up my Dream Rainbowfish Tank!!

Today we work on the 90cm (3ft) aquarium for my boesemani rainbowfish that I bred a while back. I currently have 15 of them which for the time being is a good number, probably could have more. However, as they get bigger, I'll have to probably sell or re-home a few. I'm really loving how this tank came out and can't wait to add more plants and work on it more!

Those angelfish are gorgeous!! You can sand down the sharp edges of that drift wood if you're worried about hurting the fish. There are some additives for plant in fishtanks with some iron solution/components to promote green in plants. Be careful with quick changes of pH and temp with angelfish, they are very sensitive and just 1ºC may stress them out that much as to get them sick. But the first tank you shown with the tiger lotus looks amazing!! Congrats!! Saludos!!

Your tanks are looking very nice. You mentioned so many plant names that I couldn’t keep up, especially because some are rare. Maybe you could list the names or put it up on the screen. Uporium? I must be spelling it wrong. I couldn’t find it on google. Love the lilies especially the one in with the angelfish.

Love your rimmed tanks. Rimless looks fine but it's overrated. Something about them sharp black edges just does it for me. Awesome work man keep up the great job.

I don’t really want to change the natural form of the wood. I love that it’s pointy and sharp, just not for these rainbowfish. It would work great for contest tanks with smaller tetras and rasboras 👍

With all due respect, but I beg to disagree. While I respect your opinion and while you are certainly entitled to your own, I don't think his thumbnails are "clickbait like" at all, as you termed it. Click bait is something designed to entice or attract people into, reading, listening, clicking or viewing a link, video etc., which are typically characterized as being deceptive, sensationalized or just plain misleading. From the term's plain meaning alone your characterization, of his thumbnail being "click bait like", is clearly erroneous. Nothing from his thumbnail is deceptive, sensationalized nor misleading. He is simply being a content creator, "doing his own thing", working hard, doing his best and having fun in the process. A kind reminder to you that while you are entitled to your own opinions, you are not entitled to your own facts. And forgive but, just to stress my point, the fact is nothing from his thumbnails nor any of his videos is decetive, sensationalized nor misleading. Have a good day/night wherever you are. Peace.

With the earthquakes in japan, are rimless tanks a concern or risk for Japanese fish keepers? I'm surprised ADA tanks don't have a brace considering how earthquake prone Japan is

Yeah, I haven’t heard of any tanks being damaged by earthquakes. I’ve only seen videos of water spilling out onto the floor. I think having a proper solid stand would be more important. Also, Ada recommends customers to replace rimless tanks every 5 years to be safe. As long as you’re careful and take care of your tank, I believe it can last 8-10 years maybe more
