Setting up my plate carrier Crye JPC 2.0 with accessories

Unboxing and setup of my Crye JPC 2.0 plate carrier alnk.to/fSgL5ax For the plates, I chose the LA Police Gear Lvl 4 la-police-gear... that I picked up on sale. I added tube adapters for the cummerbund, a Spiritus Systems MK5 placard, and a few other things that customized the carrier to my liking. Fantastic setup. I run coyote brown gear myself. I ran it in the early 2000s in OIF. It was always the hardest to spot both overseas and at Camp Lejuene during training imo. I love the bayonet! For those who don't like it remember... Don't ask why, ask why not. Semper Fi to you and your father from this grunt.

The cummerbund should sit on the top of the velcro that way the plates sit properly.....JPC has a problem if it not sized good, the back plates sits to low. So attach the velcro tube's up on the front bag

Which bayonet is that it looks scary and cool? I know it is not an m9 or m7 bayonet. I saw the original m65 in the bump helmet video. Will you feature it in the m65 review? Does youtube actually not allow you to show the mag being loaded or the bayonet being fixed? Great video.

The brown handled bayonet is the OKC 3S Bayonet and Combat Knife. It's impressive to say the least! We never could get a straight answer from the powers that be on whether we'd get a channel strike or not when showing how to mount the bayonet or insert a magazine. So, we opted for the magic to happen off screen.

Couple questions: 1) does the JPC come with the clips that you attached that placard into? If not where did you get them? 2) whats your height and how has those large plates/carrier fit? I’m 5’11”, 220lbs and been trying to decide whether or not to get a large JPC/large plates, or medium.

Mine came with the clips. I'm 6'3 (225 at the time of filming). I'm right at the cusp of needing the XL, but so far the L has been good to go.

80% of Americans fit size Medium, so it works for most, I'm 5'11.5, 180lbs and fit medium, looks somewhat small on me but not too bad really, I'd say I'm pushing the upper limits for a size medium though. But at 5'11 220lbs, I'd look into Large for sure

Silly you said the most important part were the plates and then show LA Police Gear plates, they're not NIJ certified. They're trash. Shame on you for trying to make a buck at the cost of a fellow American's safety.

@DeathFromAbove_5.56 what makes them trash? After watching Mike (mrgunsngear) shoot his round after round, we bought these on his recommendation. They're cheap and they work. I'd love a set of American made plates, but I can't afford any of them. Again, these work, and a set of them can be purchased for under 250$
