Hi this was a great help to get started with my block and Omnisphere, one question if you would permit. You mentioned not to worry about the midi settings and the DAW merging all. Did you go on to do something about that as I dont recall in the video?
@DoryVideo5 жыл бұрын
Just set the DAW channel to ALL midi channels

why did you say you are not using the midi CC mappings? can you tell me how I can set slide to act just like the modulation wheel?

Thanks for the post. My version 4.02 of Dashboard does not look like yours. I wonder why?

Playing pitch with 24 semitones in each direction gets a bit nervous result for me, especially if I want to just add a little vibrato, I always choose 12. I normally don't need to glide over two octaves.

yes thats also good

Hi James, Just got the Bloc keyboard. Can this be used for Omnisphere ?
@DoryVideo6 жыл бұрын
+David yes of course, just set the control panel the same. I've not got a block keyboard so I cannot test here but it has the same midi spec as the rise I believe

Thank you for this video, can you please help with logic. i set the cloning and set the midi to all in logic but still i get a glide on all keys
@DoryVideo8 жыл бұрын
Sorry I don't use logic and don't know how he midi routing works. Just check that logic is able to route all channels to the VST and that the Roli is set to multi mode.
@J_Dubois6 жыл бұрын
does anyone know if this works with ableton or logic?
@DoryVideo6 жыл бұрын
i'm working on a tutorial for Logic, i've never used ableton so don't know if it has this functionality at all
@J_Dubois6 жыл бұрын
thats brilliant let me know when the logic tutorial is up! fantastic

Does not work with Ableton unless you create 16 tracks as a work around. Because of that I switched from Ableton to Reaper and I now love Reaper. Incredibly powerful, stable, and fast. I recommend it. Especially for ableton PC users.
