Thank you for this I watching because I got to the point where you update controller and then it just stays on that screen not doing nothing. I watched other videos but they didn't say anything about this point and was scared to power down manually for fear of screwing something up, but after watching your video and seeing people post comments about the same issue and that it was ok to manually power down got me moving along.

Never had any overheating issues, xbox does get a little warm when playing for long time. But no issues

Yeah, something is up with Hdmi 2.1. Port is loose on my XSX and PS5 both
