Super awesome videos. I’ve been in this industry since 1968 and owned a shop for about 40 years and it’s now in its second generation . I started with the punched tape technology of years gone by and grew with improvements . It would be a dream to have a shop like you have. You’ve accomplished so very much for the industry and I’m extremely happy that your giving back to our industry. The ability to keep work here rather than overseas is vital. Titan is helping pave the way to changing this closed off industry, I would like to be a part of that. Titan and the KZbin Machinist community inspired starting our page over on Instagram dedicated to creating a library of practical tips. Having grown up in our family Machine Shop, it seemed normal to be running a Bridgeport as a kid drilling holes while standing on a milk crate, it is funny looking back now. After a life of Jobshop work gaining experience which eventually led to starting this company, it felt like time to give back. All aspects of this trade are covered there including Manual and CNC, turning, milling, and fabrication. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or have decades of experience, have a huge budget or next to none, there is practical information for everyone. Experience is the number one factor in this industry, let me share some of mine with you.

Your half right about the value proposition of glass scales vs. encoders. Encoders work in the arc tangent scale and glass scales to the millionths of an inch. so... Sharp used to make a dual drive on all there axis (X,Y, and Z). Not much to look at and not a big box name but boy this Mama Jama would take a cut!! (service had little to be desired).

Lets use conservative number 0f 330,000,000 for the US population... That would would put the death count at 99,000 people(330,000,000 X 0.0003). So far about 5% of the population are confirmed to have been infected (12.3M out of 330,000,000) and we have already seen 257,000 deaths (which puts the current survival rate at 98%). Do I need to tell you how stupid you are for not being able to do simple math

Hi. I realy injoy the Academy, i use schunk holders and zeropoint system, also Mastercam my qustion, for absolut best resoult when using mastercamcouldt you giv a hint of what pc power i schould use because it seems to me that iam using to much time computing programs, iam usally making wery small items "stock L12mm W7.5mm H50mm with small radius r0.1 on corners and in cavities and high closs surface.
