Setting up the "Double Up" feature on your UE BOOM using the UE BOOM App

Thank you. I had difficulties connecting. What I learnt with the second speaker you need to press the Bluetooth button twice and wait 5 seconds and then they connect. Previously I pressing two times repeatedly and they would connect. Thank again you are a Champion!

You can add a second speaker by clicking the + and bluetooth buttons on the playing speaker and then double clicking the bluetooth button on the other speaker. Then, in the app, from the main screen with volume control, swipe to the right and you can change the balance and whether the speaker is set up in stereo.

Just bought 2 Megaboom 3's. Cannot get them to pair and I have tried everything on these sites. They play individually, but when I try to pair, the sound just goes from one to the other. Both will not play together.

Go down in comments to Aunts music. Once your speakers are turned on then follow her advice to double up. Worked like magic and so easy...

With the BOOM 3 and BOOM 4 you can PartyUp on the App to up to 150+ speakers. You can only play through Bluetooth :)

Great video. Very helpful. But my UE Boom stalls or pauses every now and then. Sounds like a brief pause. What causes that?

+Eduardo Flagg it could be caused by interruption of the bluetooth connection. Can you test that out and see if the issue persists?

I am unable to pair up a UE boom and a UE boom 2. Please share any advice. That's the reason I purchased the second UE boom 2. Looking forward to getting them paired. I did update the firmware also.

Seit 14 Tagen Frust: die beiden UE Boom 2 lassen sich nicht gleichzeitig pairen. Und ja, ich habe mittlerweile alle Tipps aus dem www. genutzt. Und ich habe bei Logitech einen Fall eröffnet (sogar 2mal) aber nie eine Antwort bekommen. Beide Boom haben die gleiche Software, Update, werden jeweils einzeln erkannt - aber die App gibt nicht mal die Möglichkeit einer 2ten Boom vor. Ich bin soooo sauer.

Walter Williams hey man as long as you keep a not too loud volume level it will last way longer. I had the same issue and thats the only way to solve it

Didn’t work.... It just goes back-and-forth with only one working at a time. Worst thing about these UE boom they don’t even work with an iPod you got to have that cheap adapter from China that breaks after a few months and adds a whole Nother step to just to turn on some music. The people at AT&T said oh no it’ll work without adapter.

Try renaming UE Boom 1 and the other speaker UE Boom 2. This worked for me.

That's simply not true. I'm currently connected to UE boom 2 on my Macbook while an original UE Boom is connected to the UE Boom 2.

Could you please explain in detail how you managed to do so because i was having trouble so rang the makers of the product and they stated that it can not be done

I did exactly what's on the video. Turned on the UEB2, connect it to the laptop, press + and Bluetooth button on the UEB2, turn on the UEB1, double press the Bluetooth button on the UEB1. Both devices stopped the BT button flash after about 20 sec and made the bongo sound indicating connection established.

I just tried it again and it worked. There's definitely a ~20 second pause when you've finished pressing the BT button twice on the second UEB (the original in my case) device before the two UEB pair. Just in case, you should check if you've updated the firmwares on the both devices to the latest version.
