Various Controllers? I did a video about using external midi gear, multiple midi channels etc. Also did one about setting controllers with a twist (controls controller one device and the keyboard plays another) however if you are looking more at the mapping side, so when you select X device abc knobs are already assigned, then do a search for Reason and Mappings.

What is that unit sitting next to your scroll mouse? Looks like a scroll mouse but it's all buttons.. at 1:43

it's a jog wheel, people mainly use them for making movies as you can scroll forward and back through the frames, however the buttons are very configurable and it changes it setup depending what program is active.

@@bobbyrutz9402 OK, once you are up and running you can download a mapping file for the T series from this link, it contains much of the stuff from Nektar however there are many many more mappings including over 2300 grab maps. This link contains a "link" to a video about grab maps. More or less it is, with the P series, there is the firmware and 2 exe's to run (you need to run both of them, this step is missed by a lot of people) then if you are on Reason you can download my maps (700 full maps and over 2300 grab maps)

Hello sir, mine is Panaroma 4 in logic pro and the problem is when I press 9th fader button and shift, my display won't be white. but still when I go to “T4-T6_Firmware” it seems like it's launched but the “Load File” button is still grayed out so that I can't load the file even after closing nkupdate and launch it again. so, is there any solution on it ?

Does your system see your T4 OK? If it does make sure you are not running any midi related programs (which of course includes any DAW's, browser etc.) After putting the T series into firmware program mode (turning it on while holding Shift and 9th Fader button down, the screen turns on white. Run the last nkupdate, if all is OK you should see "OK Nektar unit is connected in firmware mode.", then the "Load File" button should be available.

@@PoohBearsReasonChannel Yes it shows OK Nektar unit is connected in firmware update mode. > Select Load File to open a firmware file to be programmed. but I can't select the load file button, it's still disable.

hi i am having a problem with my panorama p4 today. I keep getting a message "control surface is inactivated" when I am launching a project I am currently working on. but when I launch a different project everything is good i dont get that control surface message. It seems that it happens only on the other project I was on before. what could it be or what should i do?

Without seeing the project and know what devices you have in the project it's hard to say. I would load up that project, make a small change (even just change it back again) then make sure something simple is selected (like a stock device) save it and reopen it, do you still get the same error? How many mixer channels do you have ?

Nasty piece of garbage. Got mine on 6th Jan. (T6). Went back yesterday (16th). One drum pad didn't work properly, update issues and then a slider came off. That was it. Back it went. Got an old Remote SL 25 here which you could drive a tank over. Quality stuff. So, I'm back on GAK now pricing up another 49 key surface. And I WILL NOT be going after anything Nektar. Novation, Roland, Korg, Arturia is the way to go. That was my experience with the T series. Not happy. Not happy at all.

Sorry to hear about your issues, I still have the one from the video and it's used daily and still going strong...
