I tried it but there were way to many unsupportive devices. I really wanted this to work

Interesting, (I'm looking at this hub to add Z-Wave, Zigbee etc to my Apple HomeKit) I'm using Homebridge on a NAS using a docker to integrate non-Apple approved devices including WIFI light switches, NEST thermostats, Dyson fans/heaters etc. Currently there are no software plugins to add Z-Wave or Zigbee to Homebridge). I am using a Vera Smart Home controller to control my legacy home devices, but this method requires another app to control these locks and lights. (The wife doesn't like switching back and forth) The Hubitat hub appears to have a very useful community board for connecting and troubleshooting devices. I utilize Kwikset for my locks and the site shows it's compatible and indicates over 106 pages of other compatible devices. Just curious on what devices didn't work for you? Could you expand?

Do not be fooled by these slick presentation videos or the child-proofed Community forums of shills. The Hubitat interface is very cumbersome and user UN-friendly and the documentation is all over the place. The environment and tools are still fairly primitive.

More unfriendly than homeassistant? I'm trying to find an alternative to homeassistant that non-IT people can use
