In my Janome serger manual it says to move the knife back up to upper position for rolled hem, but I don't see it done in this video. Which way is correct, I am having trouble making a pretty hem. Thanks!

Aren't you suppose to remove left needle?

Yes, you do have to take out the left needle - please refer to your machine manual, that part was not shown on this video.
