Is it like a gratuity that the customer adds if they want? Thanks, Jamie

Thank you for the tutorial. I'm still not sure Fiverr is for me, as it seems too time consuming for the amount of potential money. Maybe I'm missing something. Can you give an idea of an average job of approximately 200 words and the amount of time you would spend on such a job? I realize each job will have different requirements, but just trying to get an idea. Also, is it standard on Fiverr to be expected to add music for these projects? Thank you.

Thank you for your video Angela. That was very helpful. As regards creating many different gigs on Fiverr shall I set similar prices on each gig or make it slightly different?
@VoiceOverAngela3 жыл бұрын
I would suggest keeping all your gigs priced according to your desired rates. You can format your pricing different for auduobooks (per your PFH) but keep your rates the same from gig to gig, platform to platform. Your customers will appreciate the consistency if they find you at another platform with the same pricing.

what happens if you get 2 customers that order 'first of the day?' Do you order them 1 and 2 based on who ordered first? Or do you contact the 2nd client and let them know someone already has ordered that service for the day?
@VoiceOverAngela Жыл бұрын
It's the fastest way to get an order done from a customer perspective. Faster than 24 hour delivery.
@calripplebear1293 Жыл бұрын
@@VoiceOverAngela what I mean is--what if (before you check your orders) you happen to get 2 customers that both order this first in the line service. You can't put them both at the front of the line.
@VoiceOverAngela Жыл бұрын
@@calripplebear1293 it doesn't have to be in the literal sense. The point is that "first of the day" is a faster delivery than any other. So instead of waiting for a normal 2 day delivery, they'll have it in a matter of hours. If you have 2, you can choose whichever placed their order first if you need to.

Should the voice artist provide commercial rights or full broadcast rights in a soft copy or is it Fiverr who will automatically generate that rights?

If your copy calls for rights, you need to make sure you add them. Fiverr does not make that determination for you.

I just had one question. I am planning to offer VOs for commercials, but my strength also lies in doing character voices for animations, games etc... so i thought mentioning both in same would affect fiverr SEO. So can i create 2 separate gigs titled: "I will do american male voice over" and " I will be your male voice actor"? Would love to hear your thoughts on that

I would call one gig "....American male voice over" and the other a bit more specific, like ".... American male animation or character voice actor".

Hi Angela, I'm a TRS VO talent on fiverr but my sales have decreased significantly in the last 8 months or so. As most of us, I started charging $5, then 10 and I kept getting busier and busier so about 2 years ago i raised it to $25 with 100 for commercial rights, and it was going great but during last year's summer gradually my sales starting decreasing to the point that I'm only making 4 to 5 sales per month. I'm not sure why this happens but I'd like to hear your thoughts on this based on your fiverr experience and also if you think I should lower the pricing to 5 or 10 like I had it a few years ago. Thanks in advance, great video btw.
@VoiceOverAngela2 жыл бұрын
It's hard to say, I would try a different title or tags, hot terms and key words change. Do some searching and researching yourself in fiverr, take a look at what the top 20 are doing on Page one, and take some cues. ;) Also, I wouldn't change your pricing if it's consistent with the others. We just need more traffic to your gigs, try refreshing your demos too. That works for me too. Best of luck to you!
@carPOVdrive2 жыл бұрын
@@VoiceOverAngela Pricing is the main difference compared to others, mine is higher than almost everyone else, but some newer talents on the platform charge 5 bucks and I can see they drive lots of sales. I've changed titles, tags and demos. The problem is that I don't want to go back to 5 or 10 with cheaper extras, not at this stage of my professional career, idk, perhaps fiver is no longer working for me at this point.
@VoiceOverAngela2 жыл бұрын
@@carPOVdrive if your base price is $25 for 100 words, you are at the same or lower than most TRS that I've seen. The lower rate gets more clicks, sure, but you are a TRS. Try $20 for 100 words or even 50 words. Or drive external traffic to your gigs for an algorithm boost. I just think your gigs aren't being seen by the right clients.
@carPOVdrive2 жыл бұрын
@@VoiceOverAngela I was doing $25 for 50 words on all my gigs (4), $65 for 24-hr delivery, $100 commercial rights and I do enforce commercial rights on pretty much any VO i do, I know other VO talents have it as optional. I dropped to $10 (50words) on one of my most popular gigs to see what happens. Do you think I should drop to the same price across all of my gigs?
