For those who have lossless scaling app, it does the same thing without having to change your desktop resolution. I am using it since launch with my 1080ti i had to lower the rez to 900p to get 60 on wet. But it also depends on the cars that you load, some you can have a full grid others you're happy if you get 10 and keep a constant 60fps. Either way, I was baffled to see that basic scaling is not implemented in game launch in 2025 (EA or not)... Also, if you change setting a few time or load multiple track/race the performance degrade a lot, you have to relaunch the game at that point.

I'm gonna give it a go. My older PC that I use for Sim has a 2080RTX If you're able to do this with a 2070 Super, in theory it should work for me as well. Edit: Helped Tremendously. I had been playing around with the desktop resolution and scaling but for some reason never adjusted the actual DISPLAY resolution. Just bumped it down a bit. I went from having to run the game with everything turned to low or off to being able to run it stable at 60+ fps with most things on Medium/High. Made the game 10x more enjoyable and should only improve with time. I had almost gotten tired of trying to get the game into a playable state. Kudos to you sir for the inspiration!

Thanks mate. I have noticed the reasonably decent change since 1.4 and new Nvidia drivers too. Fairly happy now after where this EA started. 5600x, 3070, 16gb ram, 1440p. Will try the image scaling idea, I’m running around 40fps with a 10 car grid in the rain, lowest it is 29fps at the start but quickly gets better to 40/50 fps. It’s 50/60fps in the clear. Just want them to sort the ffb out now. G923 has become whack.

well...on 2070super and 1080 resolution, downscaled from 1440p and 22 cars , I got 34fps...so no succes at first. Actually , I think my I5 8400 cpu , is the culprit , almost 100% use . Gpu only 34%
