Great video covering the little nuances. I tried setting up my Azure environment just by busting down the doors and muscling through it with no training or reading. I got most of the way there, but getting it off the ground was a little less intuitive than I was expecting. This video clued me in on a couple things, and then it's off to the races. You sir are a LIFESAVER!!!!!! I was getting an error of 'Cannot connect to domain' The solution is to log out as local admin and log back into VM as domain admin.

Wow! Thanks a lot for this. This really helped me with my Azure Set Up. I had been using Azure without AD and now need to use AD for a new shared files service. I did note that Server 2016 does add the user group to the VMs. You no longer need to search for it and add it. Once again... Thumbs Up!!!!!

28:08 To find the "AD DS and AD LDS Tools" option now in 2019 scroll all the way up and check these options; Active Directory Domain Services, and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services.
