Easy verac tunnel skip strategy: - walk thru tunnels to chest, tele if verac spawns at a door and try again - open reward chest, spawning verac and immediately tele out without looting - return and walk thru tunnels again to loot the pre-opened chest, again teleing if verac spawns from a door. As the chest is already opened, verac wont spawn. Potentially a little time consuming but nothing crazy for this account

However once out of your starting room the only other locked doors are the ones into the center. If you have to run all the way around the entire thing to get to the center then using the minimum 2 available outer halls will save you from opening at least 4 doors.

So if you have to travel around the entire map to get to the center room you are guaranteed at least 2 open tunnels which will save you at least 4 doors in a worst case scenario, greatly increasing your chances of making it to the cheat before they spawn in.

I am convinced that there is no single account with "normal" Barrows luck. When you make your account, Jagex has a program that says "Alright, here are this account's statistical anomalies for Barrows" and they're all orchestrated in such a way that statistically they even each other out to the average. Mine is that I got 1.75 Verac sets and 2 Ahrims pieces before getting anything else.
