மிக தெளிவான விளக்கம். அருமை. இப்போது மாற்றம் செய்துள்ளார்கள். முத்திரை தாள் + பதிவு கட்டணம் குடும்ப ஏற்பாடு = சொத்து மதிப்பில் 1% அதிகபட்சம் 25,000 + 10,000 தான செட்டில்மெண்ட் = சொத்து மதிப்பில் 5%+2%. தானத்திற்கு 4% குறைந்துள்ளது. விற்பனை கட்டணம் 7% +4% ஆக இருந்தது 5%+4% ஆக குறைந்துள்ளது. Power கட்டணம்தான் மொத்த சொத்து மதிப்பில் 1% ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

Ok Sir, You have clearly detailed the process of making settlement deeds. I understood from you that by paying 25000.00 and 4000.00 stamp duty and Regn. charges only for Family members and blood relatives. You had also spoke about who and all blood relations. As I know that the blood relations you had spoke is falling as per Indian Succession Act, understood. Suppose we take directions from Hindu Succession Act, those are defined in First Schedule and in Second schedule the respective children, male or female of brothers, sisters and all defined. Can we not register a settlement document under Hindu succession Act. why not possible - Kindly guide.

Will can be contested in court. Settlement is better option and conditional settlement can be made with security features. Just like Will can be contested in court ( my brother filed a suit saying the Will executed by my mother is forged one, thought it is not). Very clear and useful information. Thank you sir. Two doubts sir. Is it possible to convert patta and theervai to the settlee if it is a conditional settlement. Is it must to quote the reason why the other child especially a daughter not included,who was already settled ( married with dowry) .

If it is a conditional settlement, you cannot transfer revenue records till such time the conditional deed is valid. If you quote the reason, it may avoid confusion and arguments in the future.

Dear sir Exactly we have ended in a dispute where the son forced father and done a settlement deed and cheated sisters. Sisters have already gone to court. Before settlement deed the father was very sick for 2 years ( affected by parkinsons and cannot speak or communicate in any form) but some home son convinced and made the deed on his name by forcing him. Now what is the chance the sisters can win the case in the court. Sister served the father for last 10 years, and son waited for sister to go out of house for her personal reasons and then did the deed very wisely and never told this to anybody until father died. Mother has alerady died 1.5 years before settlement deed was done.
