Also, no, Unturned is the _only_ game I play where I "have to" know what ports are, what an assumption. Everything else I play does multiplayer quite easily, like Minecraft, which can be done through LAN, or Terraria, which can be done through Steam. Hell, Garry's Mod is easier to do this stuff with, it's literally the same as starting a session by yourself, you just tick a couple boxes differently, effectively speaking. Phasmophobia, TF2, Castle Crashers, practically pick up and play. L4D2, Payday 2, The Forest, just hop in. Unturned is the only one that gives me issues like this, and the worst part is there's a method- for what I'm trying to do- that is _so much easier_ it baffles me that almost _nobody_ talks about it anymore. I almost want to do a tutorial myself just so people don't have to deal with what _I_ am, all to play with a couple friends for, like, an hour or so. Anyways back to "It's the same" real quick, no its not, "if not more automated and straightforward" Yeah, sure, let's say it is for the sake of discussion; it doesn't mean that the video doesn't mislead you a bit because it was made when the site was different. It still has information that could potentially confuse someone who knows nothing about the site and make them not want to use it, or give up entirely, for some folks. Nobody wants to study a whole thing for ONE aspect of a game, not unless they're seriously into making something for said game's playerbase. In short... there was so much wrong with the reply, I ended up making a whole essay. That's... downright impressive. I would be proud of myself, were that my comment. Just... maybe make less of an assumption, though, about the games I play, eh? I'm not you, you aren't me; we do different stuff... probably. And, before you say it; I'm not mad. Upset, angry, none of it. No, I just talk a lot. I have a tendency to ramble, and put all my thoughts out there, even if I shouldn't. A definite flaw, to be sure. And to me... well, to me it seems we're both a bit stubborn, sticking to our guns on this topic, haha! Look, no hard feelin's, at the end of it all. It's the same but if you actually join the server by using the IP and Port you can still connect.

@playit-gg I love your app as I can't port forward currently but, The server is showing up but I can't connect to it? I believe I followed your instruction and the server looks like it is being hosted I just can't join in-game. it's just stuck on, specifically, Attempting connection... [Try #1] and doesn't try again. I also cannot see it in the LAN tab of Servers. I'll re-watch the video to see if I had missed anything.

It doesn't work. It's the third tutorial, the third method I follow, everytime there is something different that prevents me from hosting a server. Yes all my ports are forwarded corretcly when needed Yes my firewall is setup not to obstruct the game I have been using three different methods step by step it's just not logical that it doesn't work at this point. It's supposed to be simple and logic but it feels like dark magic at this point !

In your U3DS folder, go to Servers, your server folder, and then Server, and open Commands.dat in notepad. Adding a line "mode [difficulty without brackets or quotes]" (example: mode Normal) will change the difficulty. Adding a line "cheats" will allow commands like /give and /vehicle to work.

It does not change any settings on your router. The program tunnels packets from one of our public tunnel servers to your local machine so players can connect to your server.

Then add the workshop codes needed for whichever map and/or mod you want inside the File_IDs list, with a comma between them. You can find the codes in the workshop itself on the url of the page I guess, else they also appear on an error msg in the terminal window, in case you set it to Hawaii without changing json file.

Hello, the server doesn't seem to pop up when I look for it in the LAN Server list, I didn't think this was a big issue until I set up a tunnel and checked on the PlayIt Application to find it, only to see there was no tunnels going through. Is it possible to do this with an unreal engine game? If so, could you do a tutorial? Edit: got it to work on my own unreal engine game very easily. Just had to make a dedicated server, then in play it set the protocol to UDP and port to 7777, then launched the play it software and it worked!
