If you get some sort of weird message when you try to add saying https doesn't work try restarting your Home assistant. that fixed my issue. Thanks for something simple without a bunch of fluff!

Hi, thanks for the video. Will this method also backup zha configuration for if the zha dongle fails?

The short answer is no. It backs up everything in your home assistant instance but the actual zwave or zigbee network with node IDs and routes is saved to the dongle. Most zstick manufacturers have a utility for backing up that part. I use an aeotec zwave dongle and in my case, I use this software for backing up. aeotec.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000108806-z-stick-gen5-backup-software
