The Mispronunciations are deliberate and meant as a joke. I had a brother many years ago that used to say, B Read, when he was talking about bread or a girl I knew who named her dog, phonetically, Dee Oh Gee (emphasis on the oh) if you say it as a word it is diogee, but if you think about iti's also the letters D O G. Just wordplay. I'm pretty sure that our humble narrator is just destroying the Pro Noun Sea Ay Shun deliberately..
