It's not Knowledge he has. It's "awareness". Awareness turns information into knowledge. He is aware of himself, his environment, his society, his community, his life and his role. Awareness is key. A person who is not aware is but asleep and is easily a victim of the world. That's the root issue in Nigeria. Most of its people are literally asleep and why their lives are riddled with misery and they just can't understand why.

Coincidentally, he has a song "na oil" where he sings "na oil me I dey carry". Kindly go & listen to his album; you can start with "black times" , then "From Africa with fury: rise" to the other 2 (many things, a long way from the beginning). It's like going to university; real university not like 9ja uni wey dey miseducate, misinform & oppress.

I wonder how many Nigerians who think that it is a shame that despite our abundant human and material resources real progress is yet to be made in all areas of our national life. Just few days ago Nigerians went on self-mockery termed independence; a majority of the people went ; " happy independence...": Yet, most simple, very easy things elsewhere in the world are impossible. Portable Water is one of many examples. It's always great to see and feel the spirit of Fela in his offspring, Seun in particular. Long live , bro!

Omo Baba Fela, Oosa. May Fala’s Souls Rest In Peace ✌️ The first paved road was surprisingly found at Ile Ife in 1846 when the British government went there to sign the protectorate treaty. There was no paved road anywhere in Europe or the world then! It was documented and published. I used it as my Facebook page picture. Western education is good, but unreliable ✌️👍🏽

Thanks to Fela Baba for building the African Shrine. “ Once ago a Rabbi wrote that the single human family was made of creation for the sake of peace, So we cannot say to one another that foreign religion ancestors is greater than Oduduwa, our Orishas ancestors” African Shrines will surpass the luxurious Ikoyi style of mansions for worship of foreign Gods as the north will take the land from the ‘Omo onile in Yorubaland’
