Skratching is a real journey of experience. Just love the 2 click orbit. O G flare and flare with the two notes coming backwards. With that 2 click motion you can execute some many different pattens scratches. Delayed flare.autobahn . Back wards autobahn . Just walking 2 clicks all over the place. Love it. Then you hot the 3 click. Crescent flare. Swing flare 3 click flare orbit. Man it endless. Chirps.stabs. Drags. Slice. Dice. Tear. Tazer. Ultra tazer. Snakes. Stuee.

Thanks man. You are the one how teaches the best! I am able to do 1 click flares because of your teaching. Its 10 months now and I'm very comfortable with the scratch

Is this a standard notation or did you create these ways of representing different scratches? Whatever, this is a really useful video and helped me visualise and hear what to aim for.
@TTMAcademy6 жыл бұрын
Sup!...I'm dj Raedawn...I created this system in 99....I'm also a graphic desiger...so I created all these diagrams, videos matrix charts etc....yeah there are so many skratches out there (infinite actually) so its hard to remember more than a handful or dozen...so notation definitely makes it easier to remember....just like phonics in linguistics ...the differences between these different types of 2 clicks are so small that it really helps to see exactly where the clicks are..
@djimma50805 жыл бұрын
you need to make a tt notation app with all the scratches
@TTMAcademy5 жыл бұрын
thats what the matrix is!...its a schematic...we will be sellin some mini matrix apps soon..for now just the ttm ascii character set .ttf files that allow dj's to type out ttm in their word processing and graphic programs
@djimma50805 жыл бұрын
in other words in you are learning flares and orbits if your clicks are off then dont worry its still a flare or orbit
@TTMAcademy5 жыл бұрын
DJiMMa exactly...there are infinite amounts of skratches....mistakes are also new or other cuts......yet when speeding all of these cuts up they can all become a general triplet two click since the space for variation gets smaller and smaller...like when twiddling super fast...

+TTMacademy Ah ok it's 2 different things because it was write this on your site : "all packages come with UNLIMITED digital updates"
@TTMAcademy9 жыл бұрын
yes..the matrix series does have unlimited digital updates within each number..like v1.1 to v1.9.9 but when v2.0's are released it will not be included in the first purchase...right now the skratch matrix is at v1.1.3 so there will be lots of free updates for you since you got PMOS v1.1.1....as for The faderless matrix of skratches..thats a different package that you have to get separately unless you got the limited edition kickstarter package that has both the skratch matrix, the faderless matrix and TACS which is TTM ASCII Character Set. The Faderless matrix is currently at v1.2 so ppl who cop it will get the free updates all the way to v1.9.
