As a Catholic myself, I'm fully aware of the deadly sin of envy. Because I've been victimized of the deadly sin of envy in many ways by other people. Like yesterday I was at a class orientation for a Catholic class semester and I felt like a VIP. And yes I'm aware that there's going to be people who are going to be envious of me. But I have to keep in mind on a number of things. 1. I have to be humble and thankful for what God has given me. 2. If other people are envious of me, I'm not going to let them get to me. 3. I'm not going to boast or brag about my new achievement.

Hello Religious Hippie, I’ve enjoyed watching your video on the deadly sin of envy. And envy is the most deadly sin I try not to think about at all. Because there could be people who are envious of me for numerous reasons. Like take my cousin for example, he was envious of me because I went to a CT Catholic men’s conference in September 2023 and when I told his mom of how did it go, he was feeling upset and envious of me because I got to go and he missed the opportunity. And I guess I talked too much about it and made him feel bad. So his mom and I told him that he’ll get a new chance and new opportunity. And earlier today I got back from my Catholic men’s retreat and my hope is that when I tell my cousin and his mom about the retreat, I won’t brag about it at all and hopefully he won’t feel envious and won’t feel bad either.
