Hello RNG-Gamez thank you for answering my question in this video. When you are listing/sorting huge amounts of inventory what is the process? (Over 30,000 cards) do you sort through all them first based on what parameters? or just list the cards per box as you go through them? I find I waste a lot of time when it comes to listing cards/finding cards after I made a sale and often times I will list and selling one bulk card for 50 cents then a week later find that i have a ton more.

I been wondering what is the purpose of having multiple TCG player accounts and what they are used for. Like is one used for bulk and another is for higher priced cards?

I tried to find this in your old video… but what are those bulk box cling-on tools that keep your cards from falling over in the storage boxes?? Can’t seem to figure out what they are called and would solve a lot of headaches picking cards for orders.

I am selling on tcgplayer and am doing over 50+ orders a day. In Your opinion what card sorter should I buy? I am doing mostly bulk and want to speed up the set sorting process the most. I know it will change my life as I am currently working 12+ hours a day to maintain livable lifestyle doing cards. Thank you for being who you are and showing people the real side to slinging carboard as a job.

Do you keep up with your sales from each set you list on tcgplayer in order for you to determine your profit? And if so, how do you do it since tcgplayer only goes back 120 days?

Can you talk about the automations you have in place. I know you have the sorters but you have mentioned automation a few times and I was wondering what that was.

I have been in MTG buying and selling for close to 15 years. I am looking to do this from home (Unless I can run a store from home via employees) as I have a 100k a year IT job that I cant give up at this time. How much did you start with and can I do it from home buying collections (I live close to the post office to ship) and I have room to do singles not a huge amount but I can move a bit if needed

Here is my story: I started my KZbin channel and TCGplayer seller account around 5 months ago. The idea was to buy discounted sealed product, do an unboxing video, and then sell the cards with the goal of breaking even (of course try to make money where I can). Then get monetized on KZbin, the ad revenue would then be rolled into dividend stocks. So far, it's working pretty well. I have about 700 more subscribers to go though. The stats on my tcgplayer store are: 100% rating, Seller lvl 4, and $2,737 Net sales. I opened a $1000 credit card to buy cards and pay the statement balance off every month. My question is, is it time for me to expand my buying power and go well beyond the $1000 limit? Should I start buying $5000 at a time? Or will there be pitfalls that I don't see why boosting my inventory?

I'm a part owner of a used auto dealership and we found that having more cars didn't increase our profits by much. The work increased a lot but the profits didn't reflect the extra work put in. So I'm wondering if it's the same way with selling cards. The 1k was just a limit I put on myself and with sales I never had to dip into personal money (or any of my money at all since it's all on credit that gets paid off).
@TheBearNecessiTCG Жыл бұрын
At first I wasn't doing great until I pivoted away from opening sealed pokemon boxes at MSRP. Once I started buying out clearance boxes of pokemon and other TCGs then I started doing good. Every time TCGplayer deposits into my bank I pay some of the credit card, so I'm buying more than 1k, it just stops me from buying a large amount at one time.

Hi Rob, loved your videos. I'm getting to the point where sorting cards is becoming a bottle neck and thinking about investing in a card sorter. I see you have the roca and one other, can you go into the pros and cons about using them?

I have a Pro Account and am primarily into bulk Pokemon, with a few other products. On my bulk cards - how can I save on shipping, outside of hopefully-not-fake eBay stamps? I got your tip of having a floor but worry I'll price myself out. Your channel is amazing, thanks for the great content!

Hello. I have a question for you. You mentioned your patreon, could you give more details about this. What products are available, how much is shipping, is there a limit on what you can order and how much? I may be interested, but the site doesn't give enough details for me to know if it will suit my needs. Thanks! Keep up the good work!

If just getting started with a sorting machine (and you could only choose one to start with), would you recommend the Phyzbatch or the Roca as a first machine and why? Thanks!
@rng-gamez Жыл бұрын
I would start with the roca because of the was it alphabetizes. It does it way better than any other machine due to its bin systems. The other machines are limited. If I were to do it over again I would get the biggest machine they offer as well totally worth it.

@@rng-gamez Thanks Rob! Just picked up my first Roca yesterday. Got it off a guy here locally that owns a shop but wasn't using it the way he thought he would. It's the smaller capacity one but only a month and a half old. I also picked up 125k pokemon holo/reverse bulk from him (which will keep me busy for a while). Ran my first 4 sorts through it yesterday and i'm hooked! It's literally addicting watching and knowing cards are being sorted while I'm doing other stuff. I work out of my house/workshop here in Texas (so between my wife who stays up late and me who wakes up early, we can have that thing running nearly 24/7) Thanks for all your videos. I've probably watched them all and they've been a big part of helping me make the jump to where I'm at now.

How do you “vet” people to work for you? I am basically the person you’ve mentioned selling cards out of my closet (I have bigger goals but I don’t think having a store is one of them, nothing wrong with it obvs). I am at an impasse where I still have a job and if I grew a little more I’d probably need people to help, at least for a day or two during set releases and have been considering something like taskrabbit but also would be nervous about having people in my house. Probably some people in my playgroup would help if I asked them but that’s not a solution long term.
