I know we will never have his 2011-2013 period back and he will never be this good again, but this last song of the album made me feel the way I did in the old days. I hate pop and commercial music but really this song has nothing in common with that shit!

At the same time again - sadness, happiness and hope. All feelings in one track. I always had a question - why it is'nt so popular? Now i think, this music is for the people, who can still feel this at the same time. Rap, hip hop, pop it's all tracks with only one feeling. Your music, your edm, people just can't understand, cause every your track is a feeling of a little whole life of someone, it's the spectre of emotions and i love this. Your music is the best accident that happened to me, with no regrets. I just pray for more masterpieces like this.

I was listening to this song on 8/18/23 at the dog park with my 15 year old pup, gaining visual inspiration about a video to create for a love story (I'm a cinematographer), and as soon as the first chorus began to strike my dog collapsed from kidney failure. I ran over to her to pick her up, put her head over my shoulder, noticed her limp body while holding her, and having this chorus perfectly simultaneously slam in my headphones "I'm falling fast and I know...". That beat dropped just as I noticed her body was limp in my arms. The world stood still, literally, and this is now a song I'm going to remember the rest of my life. I let her go on 8/29/23, and as much as this song hurts...it's now my new favorite song. That was the dog of my life. At one point, Layla was the only soul on earth I could trust for about a year of my life, surviving 2 attempted murders, and traveling the country. She was the hardest thing in the world to let go of, and as tough of a man as I am...she breaks me every day missing her. What an incredible song, Seven Lions.

If I HAD to pick a favorite, it would probably be this. By the time you get this far thru the album, holy shit man, we got some really incredible vocals. These are some killer vocals in this one, I really love them. And again, theyre married to the synth so goddamn well. The drop smacks (super sick) and the atmosphere is overwhelming.
